Even though the road is a bit tricky to get there, the environment, the calmness, the views, everything compensates the effort to visit. Worth getting there!

Worth a drive up a winding road with some great views. Quiet and not a lot of people when we were there. Church was closed but we walked around the courtyard. Worth an hour visit including the drive. Not for small kids.

It was well worth the drive out to this monastery. We have been to many monasteries in Greece but this one was very simple, peaceful and lovely. It was one of the highlights of Kea. It also seems to be lived in

Pretty, windy drive up to the Monastery, it’s a tranquil place in a gorgeous hilltop location. In the sunshine it was simple but stunning. Well worth a visit.

Nice monastery and very cozy church! Very nice route to the monastery! Don't miss it. You can ask about panigiris, it could be nice experience.

Panagia Kastriani Moni is the first place we visited on our first day in Kea. [In Greece monasteries are usually referred to as Moni.] The drive out was interesting, and even a little scary (at least for me). But well worth it! Kea is fairly...More
