Great little find

All handmade in Santorini by the artist on sight. Cool stuff that you won't find elsewhere and the wife loved it. Great work with colors.

We walked past this shop several times during our Santorini getaway but it wasn't till our last afternoon that we decided to drop in. Not to take anything away from the artist but we enjoyed the unique kitsch to the wearable artwork that typified this memorable holiday spot. Pricey, yes but we didn't come here to bargain as we would... More

On a 4 week backpack trip this last fall celebrating a significant birthday...I stumbled onto Aegean Designs...which turned out to be the "Jewel" of Santorini in my opinion! Owned and operated by artist "Allison Ermogenis" and her husband Michael...my finance` and I were utterly impressed by Allisons flair not only by her brush and palette but also the cheerfulness she... So refreshing to find a studio selling unique, handmade and original art works. Beautiful, vibrant colours and all inspired by Santorini's colours and seascapes. Bit pricey though.

We stumbled on this beautiful Gallery on our way to Fira, and we where so lucky to have met Alison not only a talented artist but truly lovely lady! Alison' s artwork is unique to Santorini as it is all produced by herself amongst her beautiful garden. My girlfriend and I signed up for an art class the following day,... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of visitng this shop and making some great purchases. I make a habit of buying aprons whenever we travel, but now I have one that is an orignal work of art. I only hope I don't spill too much spaghetti sauce on it while cooking :-) Allison, the artist, was a delight to... More

I am an avid fan of mythology. Moreover, as far as I have read, Hindu and Greek mythology share a similar timeline. So, I was quite excited to visit all the places in Athens to experience them. It was indeed quite similar. I also had a chance to visit Akrotiri excavation site near Santorini.

Walked passed this place in Fira, and decided to enter and see some local art. I was deeply disappointed. To me the stuff sold here is fast and easy art, made only to sell to tourist that doesnt know better. Aprons and pillows are sold with fast splash paint on them for ridiculous high prices. Some of the pictures painted... More

We stumbled upon this gallery on our walk from our villa into Fira. The beautiful bougainvillea draws you into the courtyard. Allison was out there painting while we shopped. Her hand painted pillow covers, wine bottle sleeves, tea towels and aprons were something so colorful and very unusual. I found nothing like them anywhere on the island! Although they were... More
