We went here rather than going into the square as the weather wasn't very good so didn't think we'd get such good photos of the surrounding areas. We were glad we did as it was very interesting and knowledgable about the crater and other volcanoes...More

After visiting you will had a great overview about volcanoes in Greece. Small museum with lot of volcanic stones. Start your visiting in a room with a movie.

At first glance it looks fairly small, but.. it's got loads of stuff in it and beautifully displayed. The lone member of staff was very helpful and friendly. A great surprise.
