About
With a shallow seabed and gentle waters, Tsambika Beach is a great swimming spot, especially for beginners and families with young children. Water sports like jet skiing and parasailing are on offer, and kids and adults alike will love the inflatable water parks. Bars and restaurants dot the beach, and shower and bathroom facilities are available. Get in early to secure a sunbed front row by the sea. Above the beach sits Tsambika Monastery, accessible via a steep road and stairway. This historic landmark is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and many people journey here seeking blessings of health and fertility. – Tripadvisor

I have visited this restaurant many times
Tsambika beach remains the best beach on the island of Rhodes and Alamo beach restaurant on the beach itself will not disappoint. Once you have visited this restaurant, you will never go anywhere else. I believe these people have other restaurants on the island, make for one and see for yourself?

    Must visit beach
A great beach. The chairs are €20 per umbrella which I think is reasonable considering the quality of the seats. The water sports on site are affordable and very fun. There are restaurants and shops available to pick up drinks and snacks which is handy. However, it’s unfortunate that there is not a non-smoking area. There was a couple near us who was smoking continually disturbing the peace of many people sat near them.

    Great experience
Seats: 20€ for 2 of them and an umbrela per day which is quite fair considering they are quite big and nice The beach overall was amazing, very clean, showers, changing rooms, the water was extremely clean and it was amazing to stay in the sea and see mountains in your left and right. Water sports around with quite cheap prices. I have enjoyed with my friends the waterpark in the sea. Very friendly staff, we had the same guy each day, he always checked with us how we are, if everything is good. If you ever see this review I am talking about you “brother”. Overall a great experience

    Best beach in Rhodes
Tsambika Beach is the best beach in Rhodes with calm green waters and fine golden sand. You can rent sunbeds and an umbrella for 20 Euros. It's a great spot to relax and enjoy the sun. There is free parking.

    Good but bring change !
Nice place but bring change !!!! Bathroom cost 50 cent and the woman who you give the money to refuses to give you your change if you overpay. Still had a great time and lots of activities to do.

    Amazing
AMAZING - I must go for anybody visiting the island. Clean and luke warm water, good service on the beach as shower, toilett, food drinks and icecream. 20 euro for 2 seats with thick madress, parasoll and table. The water is not deep and perfect for families with small children. Big parking for free.

    Tsambika beach
The beach and see is the best in south Rhodes beautiful sand and the sea is clear warm and perfect . The beach beds I thought were exceptionally cheap 30 euros for 3 and were comfy. The beach bars were very good . Only downside is how overcrowded the beach is very very busy and service in said bars suffers . However would definitely return

    Great day at the beach
Great day at the beach with some nice touches to keep you comfortable and the teenagers entertained all day! We arrived early about 10:30 and it was quiet but to be fair there was still some spare loungers when we left late afternoon. We paid 25 euros for two lounges & umbrella in the 2nd row (1st row was 30 and further back on some old loungers 20.) They were really well looked after wooden loungers with thick padding. There is a waiter service for food or drink or you can visit one of the two beach bars. The food was delicious and reasonable (chicken wrap 11 euros). There were two giant inflatable water parks for the kids. We paid 15 euros per person for unlimited 4 hour access. Would thoroughly recommend.

    Lovely, picturesque beach
We drove here because we had booked the inflatable course at Bloom Waterpark. Sunbeds were 15 Euros for 2 with umbrella. There was loads of parking available towards the bottom end, but it looked to quite busy after 11am at the top part. Long sandy beach, which is in quite a picturesque bay. We had lunch at one of the snack bars, which was reasonably priced. Water seemed to be quite salty here, but otherwise a good spot for snorkelling, water sports and swimming.

    Beautiful beach and views, but...
Nice beach, very good sand, suitable to play for our 1 year old. Beautiful views. We visited at the end of August, it was nice time and not very crowded before noon. I didn't think it was excellent because it could have been cleaner, people throwing trash and cigarettes are ruining it for everyone. Also hard to find a spot if you want to just stay in the sand and not rent the expensive beach chairs/beds. If you are looking for "isolated quiet beach" than try another one.

Beautiful beach, the sea is shallow quite far out, so it's perfect for children. 20 euros for 2 sunbeds and umbrella, stayed all day so thought this was reasonable. Went to The Ramal beach bar and although a bit more expensive than some places, the food was really good and the portions were huge! Beach was pretty clean compared to others have visited in Greece. Best beach in Rhodes!

the sun beds (two and umbrella) is only 20euros for whole day. the beach service is also great, u can order anything and eat/drink on your bed.
the + or - is that u can smoke there, maybe it will bother someone.
the beach is mostly sand, u can shower and the toilets are 0.50€
overall, i would recommend visit this beach, when u r on rhodes:)

Probably still one of the best beaches on the beautiful island of Rhodes. Been visiting for years but no longer the same experience. The numerous authentic rustic tavernas owned and rented by real Greek people offering good old fashioned quality fayre at reasonable family prices have gone, They have been replaced by four corporate cloned wooden structures with not one ounce of character. 2 sunbeds (whilst quality) and a fixed ridged umbrella is 20 euros for a full day. A giros wrap and a drink will probably cost about 16 euros so take a picnic or be prepared for an expensive family day out. This never used to be the case but maybe the target market is no longer families?

Beautiful beach with sand there is some pebbles when you enter the sea but nothing major, the sunbeds are 10 euros each for the whole day. You can also do water sports as well as order food to your sunbeds. Well worth it!

Rip off. Went with our grandkids and was told we had to pay €40.00 for 2 sun beds. We were also rebuked by the young lady for resting our bag on the sunbed nearby. Rude and not worth the one hour we spent as the area was crowded!

Beautiful beach, went with my partner and a single friend. Our sunbeds as a couple was €20, they tried to charge our friend €15 because she was on her own. She flatly refused and they accepted €10.
The restaurant is way over priced. A simple small beer is between €6-8, pitta bread with olives, hummus and tzatziki and tomato is €15. We’re not tight at all with our money BUT this place is way over the top in their prices. Be prepared to spend at least €50 each and that’s a ‘budget’ day. Suffice to say we won’t be coming back here again. Back to Strega or Faliraki beach for us
