Kamiros is off the beaten track but it is well worth the effort. An awe inspiring location with some beautiful ruins. There is a cafe and facilities but the attraction is the ruins. Plenty of information points too!

We went on excursion to this place, it was ok but very hot walking around. No refreshments when we visited site but I always enjoy a glimpse into past history. Do not think it is a family attraction.

If into ancient civilizations and how they lived, this is a must see stop. Parts of a whole village are on this hillside overlooking the sea. Highly recommend a guided tour as they explain each room, the shell floors, the history of the place, how...More

You reach this place by bus from Old town of Rhodes bus station. But busses are going not very often! Views are very nice from up there. You see an ancient town, its very interesting. Takes around an hour to see everything.

Watch in front of your eyes a whole legacy. Ancient homes, churches, baths each ruin tell their own story. Make sure you will go to get a glance in their way of life!

This beautifully presented archeological site is a whole town on a hillside overlooking the sea. There is the 'footprint' of a vast Temple of Athene at the very top. It's a good idea to start your visit from here. As you walk down the steep...More

Last time I had been in Rhodes this ancient town was not even excavated. But no it is, and the excavation was obviously done by professionals. The scenery is just beautiful. While you are walking between the remains, you feel that you wanted to live...More

After the crowds of Lindos come here and reflect. An ancient site with a pedigree similar to Lindos but with more old stones to muse over and early morning it is very peaceful. There is a public bus from Rhodos at 09.00 with the option...More

If your interested in local history this place is fascinating. Be prepared to walk up hills as this village was built on a hillside. From the top you get a fantastic view of the layout of the living area. Be careful as the paths are...More
