Fast Boat To Symi with a swimming stop at St George's Bay! (Only 1hr journey)

87 reviews
The only high speed boat operating the Rhodes-Symi route which means that finally, you don't have to spend half of your day on a boat to get to Symi Island! With a late departure (10:00) and only one hour journey time, this brand new boat offers an exhilarating journey and then three hours freedom to explore the island of Symi and its secrets.
Symi, Greece is one of the most picturesque and charming islands of Greece.

The most impressive spot on the island is hands down Symi port. The hill above the port is packed with crayon-like mansions which emit a fairytale-like charm. Not to mention that any corner of the town boasts a magnificent view of the Aegean Sea. The unique atmosphere of the port will bewitch you!

On the way back we stop at St' Georges bay for a 30 minute swim stop where you can enjoy the breath taking view and the crystal clear waters!

Beautiful clear blue sea which is wavy in the morning and very calm in the afternoon. White pebbles surround the the long bay and there’s plenty of space (don’t be put off by the busy car park!) Sun-loungers are 5 Euros each with a sunshade and there’s a taverna for lunch, drinks snacks and ice coffees. One of my fav beaches in Rhodes.

Stone beach but plenty of sun beds, good bar and toilet facilities. We had a great time swimming and snorkelling.

Wonderful beach with stones! Worth seeing it , don’t stop at the first set of sun beds but go right to the end on the left side facing the beach ,there you will find a beautiful place get sun beds and swim in the crystal water! You can also swim and see a beautiful cave! There is a nice Greek taverna where you can eat something the food is quite good or simply buy drinks or sandwiches !!!

Fabulous fabulous non commercialised perfect beach. Sun beds, pebbles, warm sea, clear sea and very clean and NO NOISE. If you want beach bars and clubs, do not come here. This was perfect for us. Will be back

You know you have found the best beach when its full of locals and it was exactly that! We spent two full days here and it was the best beach we visited (around 6 in total). Water is crystal clear scenery is beautiful. There are some caves to the north side but didn’t really think much to them but something to do for half an hour. Two beds and umbrella were €10 for the day. Very peaceful and beds were spread out. The best part is this is a pebble beach so no sticky sand to contend with :-) (may be a con if you like a sand beach) I do not think buses run here but could be wrong, the beach is around 400m from the main road which buses run along.
