This is a must-see place if you are passing in a car as it's only just off the main road. From the car park it's only a few steps and then you have panoramic views out over the sea. It's ideal for taking photos and you don't have to pay a penny. If you like it then it's also worth... More

Entrance is free to this castle/ruins constructed by the Knights of St John. There is not so much to see here and it only took 15 minutes of our time. A good spot for sea views and Parking is easy with a car park by the stairs leading up to the castle. Tips - Double up a visit to Kritinia... More

The views are stunning once you get to the top. The car park is below the castle and you have to walk up quite a lot of steep steps where there is also no handrail. Once at the castle you can walk about the ruins but the steps haven't been well maintained so it can be a bit of a... More

I absolutely loved this place, amazing views and it's free! Was quite a drive on the quad from Tholos but would do it again. I think it's probably one of the attraction that gets overlooked but if you want some great views/photos it's a must do.

The views are absutely amazing. We visited late afternoon about 5pm. To reach the castle you need to climb some steps- once inside, the castle dips down again towards the sea. Quite a lot of the sea facing Walls remain and there are a few crannies to explore. However the climb the tower structure on your left as you enter... More

We visited this ruined castle, on the west of the island in late August, it was extremely hot but as this is located over looking the sea there was a lovely breeze. The views were stunning, once you had made your way up a relatively steep, uneven path. It was very quiet with only a handful of visitors. There is... More

I have been there at the end of the August with my family and we enjoy very much the castle and the sunset. We really liked the place very much: the view is awsome, the castle is well preserved. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who wish to understand the histoy of Rhodes.

This is a beautiful place to visit if you're passing, but we didn't really know the history of it, so we mostly just enjoyed the views from the top. As previous reviewers have said, it does look like someone has started to renovate the site with modern steps, refreshment kiosk etc, but either ran out of interest or money. The... More
