Visited Myrtos Beach twice, 2014 and 2018. 1st visit in 2014, there was big waves and look extremely dangerous, so we only went in to our waist. (i've heard that there has been many drownings here, so we were extra careful. 2nd trip in 2018,...More
There is no denying that Myrtos beach is beautiful the sea is so blue but it looks so much better looking down from above than when you are actually on the beach which is over crowded and difficult to park. It also has the worst...More
The drive down to parking lot might be bit treacherous but once there you park right next to the beach.

Honestly the most beautiful beach I have ever been too. Difficult drive to get to it but well worth it. It's just like the pictures. Would be nice if there was shops / taverna nearby so that you could make a day of the beach,...More

With some difficulty, I imagine. Firstly you will need to work out what ferries are available to take you from Lefkada to Kefalonia. Then it will be a question of travel from whichever port the ferry disembarks at. Myrtos is in the Northern part of the island. I believe there is a bus service to the nearest village to Myrtos Beach, but then it would be quite a trek down (and indeed back up again). I would recommend that you research it carefully before attempting to travel.
