Mirtiotissa Beach

About
This tiny stretch of shoreline along the west coast of Corfu is considered one of the most beautiful and unspoiled beaches on the island. Mirtiotissa Beach is a perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling due to its crystal clear waters and rocky seabed. Bask in the sun as you sip on a refreshing cocktail from the standing bar. Once a secluded beach popular amongst the nudist community, today there are umbrellas and lounge beds to rent and the small beach can get crowded as the day goes on. The road leading to the beach is steep and winding, and can be a challenging walk. – Tripadvisor

It’s a great beach with crystal clear turquoise water and extremely soft fine sand. There is a taverna, 500 m away from the beach. On the beach itself there is a very nice lady who offered umbrellas and sun beds for rent, for 3 euros each, also drinks and different snacks. Road is a bit steep at the end, but nothing too dramatic. There are a lot of nudists there, but also people with swimsuits and it has a very chill vibe.

This great little beach is ideal for naked relaxation. The sea water is crystal clear and warm. The sand is fine and the sunbeds are well spaced out. The little shop offers sunbeds, parasols and cold drinks all at reasonable prices. The place to go for a natural few hours

A nice secluded nudist sandy beach. It requires to walk a bit but its worth it. You can pay for umbrellas and beach chairs or you can bring your own. There is a snack bar there, to buy drinks and snacks. If you like to go nude, i recommend this beach.

The beach was years ago only for nudist. Photos taking were not allowed, now people takes pics and videos all day long, and approx 80 % is wearing clothes.
There are many people who are drug addict, they smoke weed all day long, very sad to see.
The intim atmosphere there were to find at this little peace of paradise is now an over crowded place where the kiosk owners has killed the special beach because they now rent sunbeds and umbrellas, also there is a intern "fight" between two groups of Greek people, who can't get along whom has the right to have business down there
Sad to see how much they will drown the special beach for gaining money.

Being a naturist I was keen to visit this beach as it is highly rated.
However I couldn't see why.
I drove there in my car, and found it very difficult to park. The access road is narrow, and nowhere to turn around, so may involve a lot of reversing up a narrow road which is no fun.
Getting down to the beach was by a steep track.
The beach is tiny, and very crowded, but I managed to hire a sunbed and umbrella.
As a solo female I didn't experience any issues probably because it is so crowded.
It's just a personal opinion but when sunbathing naked I much prefer a large quiet beach to a crowded one, but it may appeal to some

This beach is very small, and gets very crowded. The water is clearer but there's little to see underwater. There's a kiosk selling drinks and snacks, and also renting loungers and umbrellas. Parking is VERY limited, and there is no real car park; just the side of a very narrow road. It's mostly families and the nudists were in the minority when I went there. Access is difficult.

Have been on this beautiful nudist beach before but this will be the last time. Now there is 90% dressed people. Lots of kids and quite a few dogs. Not the tranquil nudist-only place it used to be. Now it is like only money talks. There is also a nasty smell of the huge amount of weed that is being smoked there. Very sad that the atmosphere at this place has been destroyed. We can't recommend to anyone.

The two of us went for drive around the island and accidently came over this beach.. Looking over the cliffs, discovering a beautiful, nearly deserted beach. Only a man and woman running a little shelter, selling baguettes and cold beer.. Some people had swimwear, some not.. A relaxing place with alot of charm... Just what we look for.....a couple who go on holidays to enjoy eachothers company away from the busy world

Mirtiotissa Beach is one of the two nude beaches on Corfu. When you want to visit this beach you are not allowed to wear swim clothes. The beach is hidden beind the rocks. When you take the stairs down, you will find the small but beautiful beach with rocks in the water where you can swim to and enjoy the sound of the waves breaking on the rocks. There is just one stand selling drinks in the high season, but no food.

Tip: people who want to visit this beach but don't want to go nude, please visit the place before and after the high season (before May or after September). Then this beach have hardly or even no visitors and you can have a walk on it with your clothes on and enjoy the spectacular view.

just spent our 7th year going to mirtiotissa beach and as ever a simply stunning place.ami and spiros alternating with a greek/german couple are still manning the beach sandwich bar.the beach has returned to the size it was in previous years.the food was great and 40+degrees of sunshine ensured an all over tan if required or white bits if you're shy.too many cars and bikes now take advantage of the newly concreted road down when they should park for free at the wonderful elia bar complex at the top of the " very steep " hill.
