The sandy beach has crystal clear water but it is very shallow for a few meters. The water was quite cold when we went in an afternoon of late July but it was good because many tourists left after 18.00 so we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere

I followed the direction from other reviews and I ended up on a sad very small beach. The pelekas beach is on the other side of the island. Please ask for directions or take a cab!

This is a typical sandy beach in a picturesque area going downhill from Pelekas to the coastline. However, it looks as if the nearby beach of Glyfada has a higher standard of facilities for visitors; i,e, dressing rooms.

This is the best sandy beach in the north-west of Corfu. People who work there keep it spotlessly clean. Water is crystal clear, clean, and pretty warm for Corfu. You'll pay 10 euros for two sunbeds. The approach to the beach can be a bit...More
