One of the top landmarks of Thessaloniki

Very vivid square with lots of cafeterias and eateries. Not to be missed while in Thessaloniki. Full of people from early in the morning till late in the night.

We visited this square on 27th January. This square has a lot of shops, pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels and cinemas. It is full of life.

I think is the biggest square a walked around the last 5. Years. Is one of my favourite ones because of the options you have either for coffee food or sweets. You cannot travel to Thessaloniki without visiting the square and the white tower

This is a place where everyone meets and drinks coffee, in the evening there are great bars to sip a few drinks watching the sun go down.

Great place to stop and take a break from the hustle and bustle, chill out with a nice coffee and cigarette. Most of the cafes on the square have board game stalls outside them so its nice to pass some time and have a game of chess with the locals or other travellers

Not much to see here. The square is rather disappointing. A lot of shops around though, and the occasional street performance.

The square was busy throughout the day and it is the perfect spot for gazing out towards the Gulf. There are many good quality bars and restaurants dotted around the Square
