Unlike previous reviewers, we were able to get inside. It is undergoing extensive restoration with scaffolding all around the inside, and no information on hand to explain the historical uses of the building. It was for some time used as a mosque, as evidenced by...More

I think we were lucky enough to visit the Rotunda during a quiet hour, and the peace and serenity of the building was just wonderful, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the amazing space and frescos. A credit to Thessaloniki - a must...More

It’s a great monument. Who likes history must visit it. The mosaics are in good conditions and worth the visit and price, only 1€.

This building is a must see. It is good value and only takes a 20 mins to half an hour if you are on a walking tour. It is near the arch so you can see both. The mosaics inside are amazing and well preserved.
