We took this tour our first morning in Thessaloniki. We began with a introduction to the history of Thessaloniki and a tasting of greek coffee and pastries at Despina's kitchen. Then we headed out for a tour of the city's markets and a few food and sweet shops. It was a great way to learn our way around. We stopped... More

This was our second food tour, first in Greece, a great way to learn some of the Greek history, various kinds of Greek foods, and visit the markets to sample and enjoy food and drink with friends. We strongly reccomend this tour.

On our first morning of our mini- break we opted for the " Eat and walk tour with lunch" It was a great decision, our guide Despina was very friendly and knowledgable about Thessaloniki and the regions food, and we left the walk with information on where to eat drink and enjoy the rest of our stay.

We did the #1 tour our first day and found it to be a good way to start. We saw and tasted many things., learned quite a bit of history. Try to avoid a meal beforehand, we had just had breakfast and would have been better off to be hungry. Nice, knowledgeable guide. Well priced tour.

My 19 year old niece and I had a wonderful time with Despina ! She was knowledgeable and gracious on our tour..she stuffed us full and was helpful with advice when we wanted to buy something. We recommend this tour on the first day of your trip as she also gives excellent advice on what else to see.

We had our wonderful tour guide Despina all to ourselves. She was so knowledgeable about the region and her passion was contagious. She had us captivated from beginning till the end . Our concern about doing the tour with our 9 and 5 year old boys was unfounded. She made it interesting for them and included them in the whole... More
