It's quite a nice experience to be able to walk through or past such old buildings. There are some beautiful carvings on the building.

Thessaloniki is a beautiful city with great sea, restaurants, shopping, above all people...but there are also plenty of valuable Christian and Byzantine monuments worth visiting. Enjoy this amazing Greek gem!

The Arch of Galerius sits right next to a very busy street on the edge of the square leading to the Rotunda and the Palace of Galeirus. It's in relatively good shape despite being thousands of years old.
