About
The OTE Tower is located at the heart of the International Exhibition & Congress Centre of TIF HELEXPO in the centre of Thessaloniki. It is a television and observation tower designed by the architect Alexandros Anastasia's in 1966 that stands 76 metres tall and features four floors. It is noteworthy that the first black and white broadcasts of the Greek State Television were transmitted from this building a year after the Tower's completion. Nowadays, the OTE Tower has been totally transformed in a modern telecommunications tower. The unique design and features have rightfully earned the OTE Tower its landmark status among the many architectural marvels that punctuate Greece's cultural capital, Thessaloniki.

An excellent monument where you achieve an amazing view of Thessaloniki..
You need just an hour to enjoy a totaly panoramic view of the city.In the meanwhile you enjoy your coffee or snack.
OTE Tower is a 76-metre-tall tower located in the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center in central Thessaloniki, Greece. The tower opened in 1966 and was renovated in 2005.
The tower was designed by Greek architect A. Anastasiadis and was completed in 1965, with the first black and white broadcasts on a Greek television network taking place from the tower in 1966. The tower was also used in the 1970s to support the antennas of an experimental VHF analogue mobile telephone network.
Today it is used by the Cosmote cellular mobile telephone network.
The tower today, other than its status as a modern monument of the city and its use by Cosmote, opens up for events and exhibitions during the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair, while a revolving restaurant operates year round on the top floor.!!!!
You must visit !!!

OTE Tower has been one of the best experiences in my life. The food and the drinks are extremely tasty and good-looking, definitely worth the price! The tower offers an amazing view of the city, which is why I recommend you to go when the sun goes down. Every time I went to OTE there was a guy which was playing the piano live maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. The waiters and the waitresses were extremely nice and kind.

We have just returned after visting the OTE Tower after taken 4 friends and 2 children to see the city night views from tbe revolving tower ( after visting the amazing winter theme park.)...

Only to realise that OTE Tower is the worst over priced place we have ever been to,,, so this is the reason why i feel extremely important allow future vistors be aware of the prices rip off,

17 euro for 2 freddo espresso coffee,,, 30 euro for two small beers, , 12 euro each for 1 orange juices,, so 24 Euro for both juices for children drinks its disgraceful, ,,

This is only a 4 story Tower lift ride after all,,,. That smells of toilets once inside in the lift, The seats were dirty and service slow
, More shocking prices to come as they had parked at the underground car park at level 1A and paid 4 euro for the short stay 40 minutes absolutely dreadful stay away at all costs and find somewhere clean and  well worth your money
My gosh we have been to the Londons Shard on levels 33 and didnt pay the half of this for coffees there,

It's just in front of the entrance of Thessaloniki's International Exhibition and in the middle of some of the most central roads of the town. There is a cafe/restaurant on the top level of the tower. You can see the whole center of the city from up there as it is spinning. One hour is enough for a full spin and you will have enjoyed Thessaloniki's center view.
As for the prices, you pay just for the view and nothing more. It's up to you if you want to give it a try, but it surely is a nice experience.

Lovely place for an afternoon drink. The views of Thessaloniki are great (at least from the site of the sea). The fact that the tables are on a rotating platform is very cool and you can see the whole city from wherever you are seated. (If I remember correctly the rotation took about 1.5 hours to complete.) We visited on a Sunday afternoon/early evening and were given a window table. Most groups are given one unless they are all booked. In our case, we had no issues, as we had made a booking on the previous day but we noticed a few people coming without reservation and leaving because they couldn't get a window table.

The menu was ok, there is not a big selection of food and prices for drinks are on the high scale, however considering that there was no entry fee it wasn't too bad. Plus we were given a piece of cake to accompany our (10-euro) smoothie.

Pricy drinks average 12 to 14€ but worth the view. We were initially seated on an inside table but were moved to a table by the window as soon as one became free. Friendly staff. On the Sunday evening we went, there was a piano player. It takes about an hour for the bar to do a full rotation with great views of the city. Great Romantic place. There is a lift to take you to the bar.

There is a cafeteria in the big rotunda floor is moving in a circle, slowly that you can hardly feel it. It turns 360 degrees in 60 mins, hence you can enjoy a round view of the city. Coffees and drinks are expensive but I think it's worthy to visit it once you be in Thessaloniki.
