I lived so many years on the island and only learned of its existence when my friends from Athens came to visit, which is a shame. Please do visit it and be careful with directions as it is very far from Mytilene and the road...More

Beautiful place! But the direction is bad! The directions here are to a place that is out side of Lesvos! The place is in zikri! On Lesvos island.

It was great experience for adults and kids! One of the biggest collections of different crystals! Animals look so real that kids were afraid to pose next to it! Very highly recommended!

Visiting the Natural History Museum in Sigri is a very nice experience. It is putting the petrified forest into a perspective, how it came into a being starting some 20 million years ago. Aside, a visit to Sigri is certainly charming.

A visit to the museum should be done along with the visit to the park and the trip with the glass bottom boat, in order to fully enjoy this unique geological effect! !!

This is a truly remarkable museum. We could not visit the Petrified Forest itself as it was closed due to staff shortages, but we were not disappointed as the museum highlights the amazing geology of the island and displays many exhibits from the Petrified Forest....More
