At Natural History Museum, you can experience the amazing variety of life that inhabits Earth. From microbes to whales - the king of the ocean. During your visit, nature might reveal a secret or two. Explore our five permanent exhibitions. Here you can get close to the animals from the African savannah or go on a time travel and discover how the Danish landscape has changed from the Ice Age to present day. Explore our new special exhibition about the Ice Age in 2016 and 2017, and learn how we are all neighbors and connected through nature in The Global Backyard. Do not miss AnimaliA - a different perspective on evolution. We have many special activities during holidays such as tours in our collections, treasure hunts for children, dissection of animals, and the opportunity to meet the king boa karsten. Take a break in the museum garden where you can test yourself. Can you jump as high as a puma? Free access for children under 18 years. If you want visit some of the most scenic and diverse nature Denmark can offer, make sure to visit Molslaboratoriet. It is our research station in beautiful Mols Bjerge National Park, but visitors are welcome to explore the marked trails.

Perhaps I would say that this place is a museum more because of the research and collection the local university (the museum sits within its grounds) conducts, and so needed space to store and eventually display them. Not that this is a criticism. Its more...More

A good museum to kill some time. A nice activity for both children and adults. The museum had a nice ice age-exhibition when we visited.

Interesting exhibition on ice age wildlife with animatronic. Other displays crowed in one more room all together, no scenery at all, can be done much better.

Simple, yet fantastic place to spend an hour or two with your toddler and some lunch. Beware that there is only a coffee vending machine (4kr per cup). Very nice ice age exhibitions at the moment. Expect the place to be small.

Great exhibition. Loved the stuffed animals on display, and it was really nice that you could get so close up without having any glass between you and the exhibits. Single entry ticket a little pricy, but it really pays off to buy a year membership...More
