Nice park in the city, especially for a sunny day, with plenty of space to lay under the sun and even some tables and grilling areas. The botanical garden itself is fairly good and includes plants and trees from all around the world. There is a part that is covered, and includes a high view deck, so it is also... More

This is a place where you can spend an entire day - you can just walk around and study the plants, you can have a picnic in the gardens, let your children play and simply relax. There are plants and trees from all over the world and wonderfully displayed. And when you go into the greenhouses, the entrance is free,... More

We were hoping to go to the Den Gamie By village but were frustrated by the fact that it opens at 10. We were pleased to see that the botanical gardens open at 9am and that they are free of charge. We parked on the road alongside the park - this was quite busy already at 9am - you put... More

An excellent place to just sit in, the Botanical Gardens shows off fascinating tropical plants from all over the world and each area is sectioned off. There are also numerous butterflies flying around you which was lovely to see. It's obviously humid in there and a contrast to a chill Aarhus morning and I sat quite happily looking over the... The botanical garden and greenhouse offer a great view on the city and are free of charge. Both are well kept and on walking distance of the city center. Especially the Greenhouse is worth a visit. It offers a range of plantation from all over the world and has a large "bubble-building" where more tropical plants (and butterflies) are shown.... More

The Botanical Garden is worth a visit, it's free and when we visited on a rainy day there was a cool and informative exhibition on human's impact on earth through our cultivation of land that really sparkled some reflections. Highly recommendable.

Cozy atmosphere, looks like being on a trip in different countries. I've liked being welcomed by a formal introduction on food and nature in general and be after introduced to the proper gardens. The all gave me the impression of a well-run and enriching environment. 😋 P.S. it's not a bad idea to have a coffe at the hygge café... More

Quite a nice place green houses with many exotic plants, butterflies and a warm light café. Do get the more expensive coffies -the black 'coffie' is terrible :) And nice that it is free of charge to go there. The park is also really nice in summer.
