I did not intend to visit the garden, but as I couldn't enter The Old Town until 10 am, I just strolled around for an hour. Because of the winter the Garden wasn't amazing in terms of colorful vegetation, but I enjoyed to enter the...More

The garden and the greenhouses are both free to visit and makes for one of the most interesting things to do in Aarhus for free - even for the citizens. During winter the greenhouses are fun, while the garden is a great place to be...More

The outside is like a park in the middle of the city. It is well located and easy to walk to from the station. The glass houses are amazing with a cozy atmosphere and many plants from all over the world plus butterflies! You should...More

Unlike a lot of stuff you can do in Aarhus, this one is for free. Even the greenhouses. There is a little cafe there if you feel like a cop of coffee.

The garden entry is free and very well displayed. The cafe is relaxing, plenty of space with delicious food. Child friendly.

This was a pleasant way to spend an hour or so. The greenhouses represent different regions with sample plants shown. It was interesting to see the shopping baskets inside each door with products made from plants in those regions. There is a nice area to...More

We came across the gardens by accident, great find. The greenhouses were full beautiful plants and a giant timber viewing platform, which was great for a whole of dome view. Very easy to get a baby pram in and out of the gardens, great activity...More

Very nicely designed and presented with plenty of signage, a place to stop and get a coffee or tea as well as a butterfly space. Worth a visit and a nice calm spot.

Went for a too short visit before closing time, so we had to leave before having seen it all. You enter into an unusually shaped hot house. The plants inside the house are nicely labeled. It is clean and well kept. Do remember to climb...More

Not really. There are several things for even small kids to do and see, touch and enjoy, but no playground. On the other hand, it is very close to a park, with playgrounds.

Not sure, don't think so. There were no dogs in there while i was visiting, so at least it doesn't seem to be done. Guessing guide dogs would be the exception.
