All of the areas are themed, so there are plenty of lego building stations all around the park with lego pieces of different colours and types.
You can share the refillable drinks cup, which is a better use of money at around £12 a cup, but be aware you can only refill every 15 minutes. Refill stations are self serve and rarely had a queue. Beware that they do leak quite a lot, even if you take the straw out and seal it, so need to be kept upright at all times.
The restaurants are expensive from a British perspective, although I am aware that Scandinavia is expensive in general. I'm a bit disappointed that there was not more lego-themed food. There was some lego chocolate and lego fries, but that was all.
The lego is actually cheaper in the UK, so unless there is a specific set or single piece that you can only get here, I wouldn't recommend actually buying any lego sets.
There is a free shuttle bus from the airport in the summer holidays, but otherwise you can get a bus that leaves every 20 or so minutes and takes 5 minutes to get to legoland. You'll know it's your stop as I think it is literally the first stop from the airport and you drive past the massive entrance. We also walked it in 45 minutes with a toddler so very accessible.
Legoland is dog friendly, so was nice to see all the dogs joining their families!
There are also lockers that you can rent for the day, which are perfect if you are going straight back to the airport from the resort.
There is also a sealife in the resort, so two attractions within one!

We had a wonderful time at this fantastic Theme Park with our 12 and 9 year old. The park is well organised, clean and the staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful.
We paid extra for the Driving School ride which was excellent, and included a lanyard and custom driving licence. The staff were very patient and tolerant as some children struggled to listen, but the whole event was really well run.
The Freestyle soft drink was pretty good. It’s expensive but offers a free-refill every 15 minutes which you can manage yourself at one of the numerous fountains.
We entered at 10:00 (opening time) and left at 17:30. We haven’t seen everything, but we are returning tomorrow. We’ve done a number of rides multiple times, so perhaps you could do it all in a day, but I think it might be a rush. We’ll likely spend over an hour in mini-land tomorrow as we only walked straight through it today.
Some of the negatives: Unfortunately Polar Explorer has been out of action due to bad weather (it is very wet), so note if you come during rain this may affect you too. The haunted house was great, but the ride element was far too short, and this was disappointing. We bought the unlimited digital photo option which is really easy to use and has a well designed website, however some of the rides listed as having cameras don’t, so although it works well, it’s perhaps not the great value we were hoping for.
As stated, the weather was bad, but the park does seem set up for it, with nice little covers over picnic benches, and plenty of people had bought ponchos.
Plenty of rides for children 9 - 12 and younger. I think much over 14 may struggle, however if Lego is your thing, the park is fantastic with loads of brilliant Lego things to see, create and shop for.
I like Legoland Windsor, but this park tops it for me, and it isn’t too busy like some of the UK Merlin parks where I feel too many people are crammed in and half your day is spent in a queue. The queue App works well here, but nothing was ever over 20 mins. An awesome day out!

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your kind review of LEGOLAND. We are happy to hear that you had a good time, despite the bad weather.
It is correct that the Polar X-plorer ride ironically is sensitive to especially cold weather, and therefore does not open until later this month.
We hope you enjoyed your second day in LEGOLAND just as much and got to see the intricate details of Miniland as well.
We hope to see you in LEGOLAND again some other time.
Best regards,

2 nice days in magical Legoland.
Travelled with children 8 and 5 years old.
Favorite of the 8 year old: Polar X-plorer, ghost house, X-treme racer, the eagle.
Favorite 5 year old: face painting, the dragon, dig for gold, Ninjago the ride.
Glad we had 2 days in the park. Both days it was brilliant sun and the park was very full. Therefore very much waiting on most attractions. We stood between 15-65 minutes in line. Very boring and tiring with so many queues. We were prepared for it when we went in the high season, but it did not make full use of the time we were in the park.
The staff were very welcoming and positive. She screamed and smiled at the kids. The atmosphere in the park was magical. It really has something for all ages and tastes.
The negative was too much waiting (both food queues, docks and in queues to all of the attractions), and very expensive food and drink. We sat down at a restaurant, but chose to walk again when we saw that the price quickly went to 1600 DKK for a dinner for 2 adults and 2 children. We ate later on a place that served pommes frites and baked chicken etc. The portions were very generous, so a tip is to share on the food. The second day we brought our own food into the park. Would also advise everyone to start the day deep in the park and go against the flow. I thought it was quite great to use the Legoland app to look at waiting times and find out. All in all a very happy family, but a little tired of the queue and that we were not allowed to do as much as desired due to the waiting.

There are so many questions asking if one day in Legoland is enough. This cannot be answered without talking about queues. These are unreal, I cannot remember last time I saw so many queues, other than in airport security check-in.
We visited Legoland Billund on 3rd week of August, when the peak season should be over as in many countries the children are back at school and kindergarden. The queue times website showed 80% of crowds, but in real life basically every attraction required minimum 15 minutes waiting times if you were lucky, but typically 20-30, more popular ones up to 50-60minutes. This is crazy, basically you buy pretty expensive tickets to get through the gates (which doesn't buy you traffic school etc attractions), you spend lots of money on food, and then spend 95% of the day standing and waiting in the queues, followed by 1-2minutes of ride or attraction (in Ninjago lazer room the tradeoff was 30 minutes waiting and 10 seconds of action).
Overall, the park is big and nice, but you'd better pay extra for the 'reserve and ride' package and then you can really do the stuff, otherwise I don't think it's worth it. Majority of the attractions are meant for younger children, for my 6y and 8y old boys many rides were already too easy and for them 1 day with 'reserve and ride' would have been more than enough. If you are in budget, then I would choose Lego House instead (you see many amazing lego figures and buildings there with less crowd) and go in any other amusement park, as most of the rides were not so special.

Hi,
We are sorry to hear if the visit did not meet your expectations.
As LEGOLAND is a very popular destination, we experience a high number of guests during our high season and resulting waiting times at the entrance, the rides, the restaurants, and the sales points.
We can easily understand that it can be frustrating to spend time waiting and it is regrettable that you experienced a long wait when you visited us. We always do our best to limit waiting times, but unfortunately this can be a challenge when lots of guests choose to visit us at the same time.
It is important for us to know what our guests experience when they visit us and therefore, I would like to thank you for your time and feedback.
Best regards,
Mie, LEGOLAND

Basically, the park is very nicely designed. Everything is clean and you can see the attention to detail. However, the opening hours of the rides from 10 am to 4 pm for the price is really a joke, especially since online for today was an hour longer on the schedule.

Perfect for our children aged 9 and 6.
We booked overnight stay in Knights Castle 2 nights with 2 days in the park.
On the first day of a Friday we had “Reserve & Ride” which meant that we with some planning could reduce the queue considerably.
The park has no real “big trills” but is also mostly aimed at smaller children.
The coolest were Polar Express and Xtreme Racers.
Friday, the park opened at 9:45 a.m. and closed at 7 p.m.
The day after we prioritized to go those with the most queue first thing in the morning when the park opened. Then there were more games and other less attractive attractions and to admire all the cool Lego builds.
The negative is that everything is expensive (partly because of a weak Swedish krona) but also that they are good at charging for everything.
For example, if you are going to do driving school twice, you have to buy a driving license every time - lousy.
Found only one place to refill the water bottles. Absolutely sure there were more places last time 5 years ago.
Should you charge your car, I recommend Tesla SUC located at Lalandia because the price is about half against the chargers in the hotel parking - usury.
Parking also costs extra which also feels petty - included both parking and charging at Disneyland Paris.

Legoland was amazing! Everyone in the family had fun, and there's something for everyone. The staff are lovely, and you really care about creating magic for the kids.
Legoland is filled with amazing art by Lego, and it's almost amazing what they've got to build! In addition, there are many attractions for young children, which make all children, regardless of age, enjoy themselves. They are not spectacular, but that is not the purpose either. There is some queue on the attractions, but it is a good idea to be a little smart and start deep in the park and go against the current.
Emmets Flying Adventure (4D) was our favorite, but also the Fire Brigade engaged the whole family in play. In addition, we recommend Ninjago The Ride where you can play Ninja, or
Along the way in the park you will encounter shows and characters that make the experience memorable. And it is arranged for play everywhere.
The Borg show was incredibly cool!
If I'm going to postpone something on Legoland then it's very expensive and relatively poor food offer. Please bring food yourself.
Buffet expensive and not ⁇ good food. Mexican Cantina was actually much better. Note that the portions are very large, so we could fine share.

Legoland has lost the magic and the unique special impression of the Billund cloth.
We are a family that has been in Legoland for the last 15 years. Now we have big kids and thought it was time for a last trip in Legoland before even the youngest became “too big”.
The miniland itself can still do something, but we know for the past that it is smart to get down to the bottom for the entertainment that typically has long queues.
And there was Cow!
30-45 min anywhere, with an opening time from 10 to 18 it does not need much main bill to see that it becomes to very few trips.
And then you'll be jumped over! Fortunately, it provides a good opportunity to have a good conversation with the teenagers about their attitude to that part. Whether it's a good way to do business. About having money puts one over general education etc. what it does by child learning to “hop over” in school on Monday. (BRAT)
Unfortunately, our day was also hit by the thunderstorm. It meant that just before it was our turn, we had to leave the Ice Pilots. So 30 minutes were wasted. When they opened again we waited again 30 minutes.
Ice pilots is an example of an entertainment that could require a little optimization. For example, 2 to get people tight and checked. It went infinitely slow.
It is a good idea to pay attention to the weather forecast in relation to thunder, as many entertainment stops if there is thunder.
All in all, Legoland has become extremely expensive. 6 churros with sugar for 59kr👇🤣 ice cream, coffee etc. are very expensive even for a Copenhagen citizen.
When it was 18:45 and we were ready to see the last of miniland we wanted a hotdog from the only open sausebod in the park. But there were no more sausages! (You had one job🤣)
So, dear Legoland, you have turned the prices up all over the line, you have paid out everything that can be paid for and it commits! The magic is gone, the clumsy land has become too commercial.

Hej Dortea,
Lisbeth, LEGOLAND

We booked a package from Colorline and that includes staying in the hotel legoland for 2 nights and 2 days access to legoland park during easter holiday. Staying in Hotel Legoland was convenient for us because it is also located inside the park. Although it was raining for those days we were there but we enjoyed most of the rides. The kids are really having fun. There was not so much long queues. So we actually made all the rides for almost one day and just went back half day the other day. The only thing that we might complained during that time was there was not much restaurant to choose from. The pizza restaurant and the grill restaurants were closed and the foods are really expensive. Maybe i would suggest there is a supermarket inside the Legoland park especially that it was during Easter time most of the stores are closed. But anyway the most important are we enjoyed most of the amazing interactive rides and the miniatures of the famous buildings in the world.

Hi
Thank you very much for the nice review.
We are happy to hear that you had a nice stay and had fun with the activities at LEGOLAND.
Since you visiting in the low season there will be some places that will close early, but when you are here can you always check our LEGOLAND App to see what's open in the park.
We look forward to seeing you another time.
With best regards

All in all a really nice day in Legoland, the trip could have ended in 0 stars - since I had a gift certificate in my mail inbox, which gave 4 optional dinners plus drinks.
I go to the restaurant we want to eat at, get informed that they can easily accept it. We sit down and order food, as our waiter returns and informs them to use it in writing.
I inform the waiter that it is located at home in Copenhagen, and it is only on the phone.
She gets spoken to her boss again, who informs they must use it in writing. We talk back and forth, and I inform you that there is nowhere stated that the gift card must be brought in paper form, as with, for example, the discount coupons that are sometimes found on bread packs.
She gets again talked to the manager from the restaurant, and it ends fortunately with, we can just send the gift card directly to him so he can register the gift card used.
Just for an info for you in Legoland, if you want gift cards to be brought in paper form, then you must note it on the gift card, as it can create many problems from the visitors who have taken all the way from Denmark to Legoland, and can risk standing with a gift card they can not get redeemed because you do not have control of the writing.
Fortunately it succeeded with us, and before and after the visit to the restaurant we had a lovely day.

Vogliamo andare verso aprile con una bambina di quasi 5 anni. Vorrei sapere se in caso di pioggia le attrazioni sono tutte fattibili ?

We were there in March and we stayed two days in hotel. We were able to make all the rides in just 1 1/2 days but it depends on the season.

Hi there, wondering if you can book to stay in the Lego land hotel resort when the park is closed? We would plan to do other things in Billund for those 2 days and then spend 2 days in the park.
Thanks
