We made the pilgrimage to Billund In Mid-December, staying 3 nights at the Legoland Hotel. Legoland was a complete disappointment, very few of the rides were operating because of the weather, something they didn't make clear on the website. We did maybe 9 or 10 rides/activities and that was about all that were open. Because so many rides weren't operating they gave us passes that can be used until the end of April, not much use to us as we won't make the long journey to Billund again. It would have been better if they just reduced the ticket price. Given that most of the rides are outdoors, I'm not sure why they even bother running the park in winter. Don't bother with Legoland in winter. Lego House however is amazing.

We went just before Xmas and I have to recommend this - we felt like we had the park to ourselves! There was absolutely no waiting for rides, the kids were able to have turn after turn of the roller coasters without even disembarking! The park itself seemed a little dated (and the dreary weather and melting snow didn’t do it any justice - I can imagine it’d be much more inviting in the spring and summer…though with many more people too!) but it had a charm about it that other amusement parks don’t. We were here from literal opening to close and had a fabulous day, having so many opportunities for rides and no having to wait in line.

The park was fine, there was nothing wrong with it. LEGOLAND Billund is over all an alright park. It is not nearly as good as the nearby Tivoli of Copenhagen, but it is not a terrible park. Sadly my experience was partially ruined as I had to endure racial profiling. I was part of a large group of Mexican students, and we all got together to take a picture at the large gate in front of the park. We took out a Mexican flag for the picture to upload to the school's social media. Right after the picture a security guard walked over, and requested that we open our bags for a quick revision. We did as she requested, and she left quickly after, but the lady did not go and ask anyone else to open their bag heck not even at the entrance did they check anyone's bags. It was just us. There was also no need for the guard to check our bags at the gate because the gate is not close to the park's main entrance. Which means that the lady checked our bags without even knowing if we would actually enter the park. It is truly disappointing to see that a company such as The LEGO Group, and Merlin Entertainment would allow for such behavior from its employees when its job is to make people happy, and not ashamed of their national/race!

Excellent park, suitable for all ages. Very disappointed the photo booths were not opened at all rides which ment we had to go look for 1 to get out photos scanned onto the photo card we bought. Most staff v helpful. Food and drinks expensive. Bring wet gear, we did n was so worth it. Children age from 6 to 16, adults 46, 50.

Visited last week for the day, we flew in and stayed the night and did Lego House the following day and flew home. Lego land was a very good day and we both had a good time (adults).. My son went on all the rides and enjoyed. Well worth a visit.. was not many in door places to sit for coffee as it was raining.

That is NOT what you expected from most rich and pupular LEGO company in the world. Park looks and old and scrappy. Maybe lego hotel and castle hotel is new and nce... but legoland looks worn out.. and not worth two days ticked...

Not a bad park and definitely worth a visit. However, the Lego House was still the highlight of our time in Billund. The park has some decent rides and is of course geared towards younger visitors.

My son had a lot of fun here. There's a variety of rides and attractions, some purely for young kids while others catering to adults. My personal favorite was the Miniland and Atlantis. We tried a lot of rides, and there were rest/picnic areas too. Ideal for kids to be maybe at least 7yrs old (they measure height 130-140cm) to get in more rides. I just wished that some of the food stalls open as early as the actual park.

We visited for a day, and it was good fun. I think my teens are at the tipping point for this kind of amusement park - the best age range I would say is under 13's. The rides were good fun, and a lot of the rides were the same as Alton Towers, just a different name. Flying Eagle, The Temple, extreme racers, Ghost House - then think, Runaway Mine train, Duel, spinball and Hex.. Good fun, but take a picnic - the food areas take ages to serve and there aren't many of them. Glad we went, but I don't think we will revisit.

Me and my Friends went to Denmark for a short weekend away to see the home of Lego, we flew early Saturday morning and left late Sunday Night this worked out great as the airport is right next to Legoland - we had a very enjoyable day with good thrill rides and attractions for all ages! As well as the rides and attractions there’s an extremely big Lego model village and Lego store which kept us occupied for hours! The only downside to this experience is the long que times for the rides and the stall market games. Unfortunately we fell into the trap of trying to win a big prize from a ball throwing game and kept buying more balls to try and win the prize of a Lego shark, we where told you can not buy these anywhere else in Legoland or in the store but it turns out that you can buy them on the Lego website or in one of the many Lego stores around the sight albeit a slightly smaller version! Overall a very good weekend away with my friends and would recommend to family’s and Lego lovers!
