It's a bit difficult to find but the reward is great: one of the most interesting museums I know. The conservators have made a huge effort to recreate the whole history of Danish people, from one little and poor country to a well fare state...More

I'd expected something about the history of the labour movement in Denmark but there was nothing about that. Rather a collection of rooms from a house from early 20th century and a history of how work has been transformed by technology, but not done in...More

This museum wasn't on our radar, but after being disappointed by Rosenberg Castle we were on the lookout for something else up that end of town and we saw this on the Copenhagen Card app. I'm delighted we found it, as it's a lovely wee...More

If you stumble upon one of those days where the weather is less than great (and let´s be honest - we do have a few of those here) go to Arbejdermuseet. Or better yet - stroll through the Botanical Garden or at least through the...More

Worth visiting! If you're interested in how people used to live tens of years ago, it's a good tip for you! It's quite engaging with some interactive areas for children. The only thing we've missed was an English translation, as there were some areas, where...More

I took my two children (10 and 14) to this museum to get a different experience in our own town. We certainly did experience a lot about the working people and the developmen over time. We will certainly come back again.

A smallish but interesting museum on several floors of an old building - costs DKK75. The stairs are somewhat steep and narrow, but you can get a key card from the reception to access the other floors with an elevator. Well worth a visit.

Gives a great view into the life of Copenhagen workers the last 200 years or so. Nice interiors from homes and factories. The museum have a big area for kids to play and get to know how previous generations struggled. Well worth a visit for...More

as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner
city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which
consists of three buildings, two of which are new and
situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and
