The David Collection is a museum in Copenhagen near the Rosenborg Castle. The museum is free to enter and specialises in Islamic art and all unusual themed presentation - hippy trail fro example. Well worth a visit.

We came across this accidentally. What an incredible collection of all things related to the history of Islam as well as 18th century art. There are 5 floors of artifacts. An excellent photo exhibit takes up the ground floor. Admission is free

i visit more than 100 museum that's the best one of them .well decorated and things are perfectly placed.i would love to provide them 110 out of 100.

the top two floors have unique exhibits (islamic art) and they are very interesting..the other two are quite average. it is definitely worth a visit, plus it is free (which is amazing if you see how well organized and nice place it is)

Need to add my two cents to the other rave reviews. Unlike any other museum in the city. Even if you don’t have a particular interest in Arabic art - tapestries- tiles - ceramics - this collection is fascinating. Well curated , and not crowded....More

I can't believe this was free. Immaculately laid out. I would particularly recommend taking the time to look at the miniatures collection on the top floor.

We went on Wednesday night(I believe) when it was open late and free. I think it's also on the Copenhagen Card
