My husband and I always do some type of food tour in every place we visit during our holidays. I would highly recommend this food your, you receive a lot of different tasting that you don't go away hungry and it a great way to get a sense of Copenhagen's food sense.

This was our second visit to Copenhagen and we decided to book a food tour as opposed to a regular sightseeing tour. Maria was a great guide and very funny. The food was yummy, in particular the smørrebrød (make sure you only have a light breakfast that day). We particularly enjoyed the candy shop towards the end - seize the... More

We visited Copenhagen as a citybreak over halloween time and booked this food tour on tripadvisor recommendation. One of the highlights of the trip! The tour we took was the 'culinary excellence tour', it began in the main market, Torvehallerne and lasted around 4 hours. Our tour guide Maria was so lovely and very knowledgable about Copenhagen. We had 8... More

We booked the special Christmas food tour and we had a blast. Our tour guide was Maria and Rachel (another guide I believe) was helpful in keeping doors open for all of us and keeping an eye on numbers. We had the full Danish Christmas day experience from some cheese and local liquor from the market halls to the main... More

On our first full day in Copenhagen we booked the four hour tour with Maria. She was a fabulous guide who offered insight into not only the food we were sampling but Danish society and history. The variety and quantity of food was perfect, the walking easy and there was enough time at each location to appreciate the location and... More

I will start off by indicating that I injured my knee the day before the tour when I was hit by a biker. I have taken this info account while writing this review. I've been on several food tours throughout Europe, I enjoyed the tour but felt that the sights between stops were not very exciting. The quantity of food... More

Very good tour. However, a lot of walking. Some people came in walkers, and weren't told about how far they had to walk. Food was excellent, great guide, and very knowledgeable.

There were 8 people of different nationalities on this tour. Our guide was Stephanie, who was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour lasted 4 hours but the walking was not at a fast pace. We ate so much lovely food! We tried things that we would never have discovered for ourselves. It was a great way to spend half a... More

I am a foodie and decided to book food tour in Copenhagen. We only had 2 days to experience this city and what an amazing experience!!!! It exceeded my expectations, I learned so much about the city and discovered hidden treasures that only locals know. Rosemary was our amazing and beautiful guide that shared her passion for Copenhagen and food... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
