St. Alban's Church (locally known as the English Church), a Gothic Revival church built in the latter 1800's and located near Langelinie at Churchill Park, is the only Anglican church in Denmark. The baptismal font & pulpit are very interesting and the interior is quite beautiful and serene. Worth a look see if you are in the area.

Beautiful church with lots of character and great service. There were women at the door handing us information about the church, a place for you to pay for you to light a candle and pray, and beautiful information about the intricate designs in the church. I loved the outside of it, but the inside is what made it so different... More

it is a little church, with small entrance, and windows, it seems like it floats on the water, almost like from a fairy tale.

Situated next to the Gefion fountain is a quintessential English church. It is the only Anglican church in Copenhagen.

Every Sunday we bike to St. Alban's to hear a nice sermon, and we feel blessed to be able to experience our faith in such a beautiful setting. It is a much see, when you visit Copenhagen.

HIghly recommend seeing this and the surrounding area. If you walk you will not get to see it all. We biked Kastllet Park. It is beautiful. You see Gefionspringvandet, the Little Mermaid, a battery, a beautiful old windmill and picturesque scenery.

The main purpose of my trip to Copenhagen was to sing Choral Evensong here with my church choir. In contrast to the many other fine churches in the city which are (unsurprisingly) Scandinavian (or in one case Russian) in style, St Albans is the epitome of a Victorian Anglican church. All it lacks is a proper English ring of bells.

The church is really beautiful, although I didn't go inside to see it. There is a lot to see in this area, and it was nice to walk around, and discover it even if I was alone !

St. Alban's Church is a small church right next to the Gefion Fountain within a minute of walking distance. The Church is nicely situated next to the river which is a nice spot to visit if you are on the way to find Little Mermaid or Kastellet.

This beautiful little church stands tall in the neighboring area. Built in a Gothic revival style it is mostly made out of Limestone. The structure and its outer work with Knapped Flint and Aland stones makes the structure distinctive and stunning from outside. There are nice benches outside where you can sit and admire the view. The place where the... More
