A great way to spend a couple of hours, even if it's wet outside! See how the beer is brewed and sample the finished product in the tasting room after the tour! You may want some snacks to go with the beer and souvenirs from the gift shop.

We enjoyed the tour. Loved the grand stables. The admission includes two yummy beers. Lots of history and nostalgia set in lovely grounds.

No visit to Copenhagen is complete without a visit to the brewery! Not only do they show how to make beer, the show the history of innovation on the industry. As an engineer I was more interested in the technology breakthroughs than the process itself. The history of innovation and investments is very well documented. I could have stayed a... More

Seeing how the beer was made in the early days, the history of the companies was interesting. The bottle collection was astounding. I am glad they have retained the use of horses to demonstrate on special occasions how they used to transport the beer. History stays alive.

I enjoyed the tour through the brewery learning how the beer is brewed although the highlight was tasting the different beers and soft drinks for younger tourists!

If you are a beer drinker and are in Copenhagen then the Tuborg Brewery is a definite place to visit. The unmistakable smell of beer is in the air long before you arrive at the brewery. The tour is very interesting and detailed not too long, not to short, unlike many other brewery tours that I have taken before. The... More

This amazing place really gives you a great insight into Carlberg brewery, the Jacobsen family, their impact on international brewing, etc. They organise it well. The finale is enjoying the free drinks in the so smart bar and dining area. Fantastic value lovely food; best herring (sild) in Copenhagen. It's also close to the great Copenhagen zoo.

We went to Tuborg on our day ashore and really enjoyed it. It wasn't too touristy and we felt it was a good value for the money. At the end of the day it is really about sampling the beer. I was sad that the Christmas beer wasn't available, but can't fault them for not having any in June.

Simply the best Brewery in the world, made with pure natural ingredients the tour is very generous with it's samples allowing the tasting of many variety's of Tuborg, Gold, Christmas Brew (Yulebrig), Green, Etc etc. So much so I can't remember much about it. Strange thing is Tuborg never gives me a headache or hangover. It's got to be the... More

Staying in Outer Oesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Outer Oesterbro
Fælledparken continues into Outer Oesterbro, where Parken (Denmark's national soccer stadium) is located. In the middle of Outer Oesterbro you’ll find Østre Gasværk, which is a popular theatre located in an old (brick-wall) gas cylinder. Travel to the easternmost part of Outer Oesterbro to reach Nordhavn, a harbour area where most of the development is over water, showcasing Copenhagen's constant development. Nordhavn is home to the UN City and to pricey penthouse apartments which, on a clear day, can see all the way to Sweden.
