Took a while to find this as its next to the City Hall but at the side of it. Best way to get to it is to go to Tivoli and its across the road next to City Hall. Nice Statue, a few tourists taking photos so had to wait for my turn. Basically, a quick photo opportunity.

We were wandering around Copenhagen and stumbled upon this statue of H C Anderson, so we took the photo opportunity as you do while in Copenhagen. It is a nice statue located across from the Tivoli Gardens and next to the City Hall. It is a busy spot with people trying to get a photo of it. So, if you... More

You don't have to go find the statue. It is seated right across the street from Tivoli so you will be in the area anyways. Stop by and take a photo. Gotta do it!! Shame on you if you don't stop by!

This is one the 'have to do's' when in Copenhagen to get a selfie with HCA. It's not a must, but whilst you are here and its free why not? You'll easily find the statue if you are heading to Tivoli Gardens. Must watch Danny Kaye this Christmas !

Statue of Andersen is quite big and located near to City house one road over the front of Tivoli garden. You can not miss it. It is nice to take a picture with him. He seemed to be a little bit worry on current wealthy situation of Denmark compared to his poor life time, because physical wealth is not providing... More

On our strolls around town after long business days we love to stop here and say hello to one of our favourite poets - Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen, author of some of our favourite fairy tales (The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen, The little girl with the matches). It is also a good meeting point and not as crowded... More

Nobody who ever read fairy tales will not want to at least met Hans Christian Andersen. This statue is prominently located near a square and is quite easy to see. From the lustre of the thigh over too much posing, you know for sure that this is one landmark that you will want to have in your selfie photo for... More
