This park, as large as three football stadiums laid end to end, is a treasure trove of nature, for which I visited daily during my five-day stay in Copenhagen. The morning run and park-run activities gave me a bountiful variety of memory. You can either...More

We were visiting Copenhagen from South Africa, and wanted to do a local Parkrun while there. We found Amager on the website, and decided to try it out. What a pleasant experience and friendly group of people. The run is in a beautiful setting, and...More

Amager Fælled offers both big open fields and small forest-like paths. Very nice for a couple of hours of quiet getaway from the city.

Excellent place to go jogging. Lots of tracks and lovely scenery so it's easy to make it either a long run or just an easy jog. Take some bread for the ducks!

I went for an early morning run around here, but accessed it from the far end which gave me the opportunity to run along the harbour and then into the scrubland where there are some brilliant little allotments and sheds. Just before crossing the road...More

Visited earlier for the park run. The locals and organisers were friendly. The course is pretty flat. I enjoyed it despite the Arctic weather. Definitely recommend it if you're visiting. I'm surprised more of the locals weren't there.

Every Saturday morning at 9am there is a locally organised and free 5km "Parkrun" here - the field is small but very friendly and the course is two laps round paths in the field - it is quite a flat course and so relatively fast...More

I came to the park twice as a runner from the Crowne Plaza Towers. Easy to get to and spacious gravel paths. The park is quite flat but I enjoyed the views. I can also recommend the Park Run held there at 9am every Saturday...More

In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors
will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which
has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute
bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the
city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of
the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in
Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage
houses and production facilities. The western part is

The easiest option is probably to use the bike share. You can take the metro to Sundby and get bikes at the metro station there than you can return. I can't post the link to the website, but if you search for bycyklen you... More
