Really good service and excellent value as we used this extensively for 3 days. Drivers were very helpful. Just wish they had approx. times on bus stops.

An excellent way of getting around the city. I found out that there vere 2 companies offering Hop On Hop off tours. After checking both I decidede to go with Red Buses, as they had more frequent departures and very friendly staff.

There seems to be 3 different bus tours available in Copenhagen. The Red Bus Tour was the official tour recommended by the Danish Tourist Centre. We had actually wanted the other red bus, Citysightseeing tour bus and thought that was what we had booked so it is a bit confusing. My advice is just pick the tour you want and... More

There's about 4 or 5 different routes and you can select which one or ones you'd like to tour. My wife and I did 3 or 4. It did take quite a bit of time and although we could've gotten off, we'd have to wait for next bus to resume. Good overview but not detailed sightseeing. Good audio narration in... More

Everything you want from a hop on hop off tour: on time, friendly drivers, lots of stops and close to our hotel. Our busses were never too busy or crowded and they always waited 10 mins at the little mermaid so we didn't have to wait a long time for the next bus - perfect for a quick photo opp!

We saw everything we needed to on this tour, we also had the most amazing and funniest tour guide for the last tour of the day going to see the mermaid. He made us laugh so much and made the time so much more enjoyable. Well done Red Buses!

We have used Hop on Hop services all the way through Europe and this is one of the better ones, good commentary plenty of seats and busses so you felt you were safe to get off. The tickets also included the boat trip which was worthwhile too.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
