Neighbourhood: Inner Noerrebro
Located just north of The Lakes, this neighbourhood is a melting pot of small quirky clothing stores, dozens of pizzerias and eateries of all types, a street almost entirely devoted to antiques, several microbreweries and even a couple of Michelin starred restaurants. Here you’ll also find Assistens Cemetery which is an ecclectic mix of tombstones as well as a recreational park and where you will find the tombstones of famous Danes, such as writer Hans Christian Anderson and physicist Niels Bohr. Inner Noerrebro is also home to one af the most popular theatres in Copenhagen, called Noerrebro Theatre. It shows both popular musicals and plays, as well as productions of a more experimental nature.

How many cozy beer bars can one city have?
Oct 2019
Tolv Haner means “twelve taps,” and these rotate regularly. A go-to spot for craft beer drinkers, but with a decidedly local feel. Had we not had a dinner reservation nearby, we easily could have made a night of it here.

The best Økologisk beer
Aug 2019
The place is run by one of the son of Per Kølster, who is the head of organization of ecological farmers in Denmark and who owns the brewery in Krogerup which is also possible to visit,
That's the best beer, worth it's price. The beers changes every week at the taps, depends of the season. They like o experiment with flowers, and fruits. I tried Mirabelle beer, but for me it was quite sour, but I could mix two beers like Beast and Mirabelle, and than it was perfect!
I also like the dark beer - Arran - I'm not sure about the name.
Definitely the classic one is IPA, worth tasting.
Bar has really nice outdoor benches and people working there becom a big family - around twenty people of friends.

Bar is open 7 days a week, I think everyday from 15 till midnight.
Before opening you can try the small cafe at the corner, and in summertime the Sicilisk Ice Cream, the best in Town,
If you are hungry, you can eat in Blaaregn just around the corner, Vietnamis restaurnt on the the other side or in few restaurants on the same street closer to the city center.

Interior is really nice, and it was all designed by the owner. He recycled old brewery kegs into lamps, all doors as tables and botanical pages from the books on the walls.

Cheap, Delicious Local Beer!
Oct 2018 • Couples
This was directly below our AirBnb. What a great find and suggestion by our host! Wonderful outdoor patio area that becomes lively at night, but cozy spaces indoors if it's too cold. There's a light, wheat-style ale that was delicious!

Kølsters Tolv Haner a local joint

Very nice outdoor ambience with seating on a small square in the hearth of Nørrebro. Great decoration inside, very light and spacious, not typical for Denmark.
Small selection of good beer and wine, friendly service.
P.S. you can order from the place across the street Nha Trang - Vietnamese cuisine

Bartender was unexperienced and did'nt know enough about the beers she was serving. It was not possible to get a small taste before ordering.

Kølsters Tolv Haner is real gem
Dec 2015 • Couples
Recently celebrated their first year open for business KTH was a highlight in Nørrebro, that my wife and I visited more than a few times during a recent trip. It is a charming and friendly place -- the staff all being very nice indeed. But the farm-made beers and cider too, are exceptional. I believe it is all organic and certainly a lot of thought, time and dedication has gone into their products. I wish I had a neighborhood bar like this!

I cannot wait to go back again one day.

Kølster brew their own beer (not on location, thought), and they are passionate about it! The beers are great, and the selection changes constantly.

Great home-made organic beer in pleasant surroundings
Dec 2014 • Solo
Kølsters Tolv Haner is the place to go, if you're looking for a Danish beer experience beyond the labels you can buy at an average bar. The bar has 12 taps with different styles of organic beer. I had the pleasure of trying 7 different delicious brews, and I will certainly return to savour the flavours of this Beer Mecca.

The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the decoration is rustic and unpretentious. It is a delight enjoying a good beer in the light of candlesticks, while watching the sun set behind the church just across the street.
