I found the church to be interesting, but not that interesting. It is a cool blend of Sami culture and Christianity, but as European churches go, it wasn't spectacular. Then again, there isn't a ton to do in Kiruna, so it's worth a visit IMO. No charge and it's right at the edge of city center.

A Christian church without the usual Christian architecture which made it nice. Sami inspired building inside and out made it a worthwhile visit. Otherwise, just another church.

Photogenic structure inside and outside. English fact sheets inside. Wooden structure is about 100 years old but looks band new.

Lovely church with a lovely story to tell. An attempt to join all faiths together using wood gathered from Siberia. 4 min walk from the centre of town.

It's a beautiful church located at the top of a slope, esp against the white wintry background. Nice architecture, esp the golden monuments.

A beautiful church worth the stop. From the locals they mentioned, it was built to welcome people of all faiths to worship together. The church opens at 10:00, however, it can open a bit later depending on when the city gets there. Wonderful wooden architecture.

This little cute church is located at the centrum which was quiet and sweet in the Saturday morning. We took a walk around and met many local people and their friendly dogs.

This is a stunning church inside and out ! It is really a MUST when visiting Kiruna ! So many have told that before me. Why not visiting it yourself and explore if your opinion is the same ?!

Kiruna is a small town and I didn't expect to see a lot of points of interests. Maybe this church is one of the largest wooden buildings in whole Sweden, but there is not a lot to see here - no tourist informationm, which would explain the history of the building.
