About
Malmö Live Concert Hall is the meeting place for music, culture and entertainment in Malmö; with over 750 concerts and events each year at seven different venues, we have something for music lovers of all ages. Our concert hall has been widely praised for its world-class acoustics and is home to the Malmö Symphony Orchestra (MSO) – a gathering of some 90 musicians from 17 different countries. Concerts, exhibitions, sing-alongs and music quizzes, local unplugged performances from the 040 Live network, free morning concerts, our jazz clubs, after work events, the experimental Okiinami children’s music room, and much more besides – all of this fits into Malmö Live. Opened in August 2015, the concert hall is managed by Malmö Live Konserthus AB, which is wholly-owned by the City of Malmö.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great venue for live events. Attended as part of Eurovision. Beautiful setting with plenty of levels to sit at before entering main hall. Every level had small bar and great atmosphere.

Malmo is the third greatest city in Sweden. Connected to Copenhagen with a bridge and trains running every 20 minutes between the cities. If you buy a trainticket for the bridge local buses are included in the price both in Malmo and Copenhagen. The Consert Hall Malmö Live has been famous for the marvelous acoustics spread amoung international artists both classical and other musicians and singers. You could also participate in guided tours taking you behind the scenes. In the same buiding there is a hotel with 25 floors and a restaurant at the upper floor with an exciting view over the city and the see

Rooms are 30C during the summer, no AC in the entire hotel, it is simply not possible to get a good night sleep in 30 degrees, and its suppose to be a fairly new and modern hotel?
Then theres the pillows, they arent even pillows, just a pile of fibre clumps, due washing them in the washing machine dozen of times.
Sorry, but this kind budgeting is truly patethic, and doesnt fool anyone but themselves.
Expected this to be a top notch hotel, but theres a long way there.
Raddison Park in a couple of streets up is alot better, for half the price 👍

Malmö Live has had its best days as they - slowly - are saving on "small things" that you only see if yo visit them on a regular basis!

Came here with a group of friends on a Sunday evening to see the Fastlove - Tribute to George Michael concert and had a great evening.
+ nice and modern building. Restaurant and bar on top floor, Skybar.
+ location is very close to Central station and buses
- big bar on ground floor was closed so there was only a small choice of drinks and food from temporary serving places.

Got the room after waiting an hour in the lobby. Granted there were a lot of people because of New Year’s Eve, but they should have excepted it. We also had to wait this long because they weren’t sure if the room was clean... They send housekeeping to check, but forgot to tell us. We had to ask again to get the room...
The TV in the room only works half the time (it runs on an internet connection that apparently isn’t stable enough).
On the other hand the view from our room was lovely, the food very good and the service in general was great (especially the elevator guy).

Enjoyable concert, good acoustics, but very drab concert hall.

Go for the music only, as the rest is a disappointment! For a full concert evening experience go to another city; Malmö doesn't cut it.

Pre-ordered charcuterie plates, best, and about only, thing on menu ... a real disappointment.
A few small slices of salami and ham and 2 small thin crackers, in a coffee shop looking environment shared with open coat room. Couldn't find table as no names were on it, only a number that had nothing to do with the reservation number. Meatballs and milk at IKEA would have been more classy!
