it seems that Blekinge Museum is more for locals than tourists from abroad. it add only a little bit on history of the area.

This museum is quite small and could have had more stories to tell. If they were to elaborate more it would definately be worth another visit. Most interesting was the tour in the mangon.

Must to see.An excellent museum for any kind of visitor.Do take the time to visit.However, don't be surprised that there are lots of more visitors there during high seasons

Located right in the middle of the city, the museum is I think converted from the king's old house. Frankly, it is very small and has very limited items in display.

Dropped by to see the exhibition of Christmas decorations. Went through the whole museum in about 30 minutes. There are some nice pieces, especially in the section on boat building, but overall the collection is pretty thin. Some historical books in the gift shop offer...More

We visited in November so the museum was free to enter (I think you have to pay up until the end of August). Had we paid it wouldn't have been worth it but as a free attraction it's pretty good. Took us around 1 hour...More

The building is located on the estate of the family Wachmeister. It occupies the palace and utility rooms. In addition, the park contains a palace and a special play area for children. Very different collections, including the Swedish contemporary art. Interesting illustrations of everyday life...More

Nice little museum down by the waterfront. Changing exhibits show some of blekinges history from ancient times to today. Pretty back garden that during summer sometimes has events.
