Potentially this could have been quite an interesting museum, but I found my experience somewhat marred by the hordes of children that were swarming all over the place and making lots of noise. Catering to children in museums is all very good and well, but...More

The museum is rather small but nice and surely can be interesting also for children. There are several activities, like e.g. creating a photofit picture. You need about 90 minutes for a visit.

Interesting museum both for kids and adults. Has some pure history info, but also important events and tries to talk a lot about perception on police force and how it's necessary. Child friendly.

It appears I am the first one to write about The Police Museum. That’s quite a surprise, considering how many families with kids visit Stockholm, and this museum – just like the neighbouring Army Museum and Technical Museum – is mostly targeting school kids. You...More

We spent a couple of hours at Polismuseet. It's very much oriented on a Swedish audience. Still good fun for young ages. Some parts are translated in English for older kids. Our kids enjoyed playing around the police car, motor bike and wearing uniforms. Good...More

Went to the museum featuring two 7 year old boys. There was no cafeteria or restaurant in the place just a vendingmachine. There was only one police car for the kids to "drive" so they were very disappointed that they had to stand in line...More

Interesting exhibiotions about the history of the Swedish police and moderm equipment, as well as about current challenges and how people feel about police forces. Unfortunately, not everything is translated to English. It's not a propaganda museum, they have the courage to say that yes,...More

Very interesting. Very nice staff and great activities for kids. Bring your own food and drinks because they only have a vendingmachine.

Visited as I have been a policeman for 29 years and it is always interesting to see how it works in other countries. This is a small museum and has a play room for children, which unfortunately had things that were too small for me...More

This has a great set of exhibits, there are various set ups of police dispatchers, uniforms and equipment from different times. There's a crime scene set up that allows you to observe the clues and what they deduced from the scene. Not everything is in...More
