One tip right off the bat is to visit at night - the museum is open late on the weekends and boasts live music some nights. Regardless, it is a well curated collection and rotation of exhibits. We were trying to avoid too many museums this trip but this was a perfect one to visit to see a different medium... More

I went at the beginning of November, the Anton Corbijn Exhibition was fantastic! Some of the up and coming photographers on display were fantastic, others less so. Overall a brilliant experience, the cafe is a lovely environment with very nice views out over the bay.

I visited in the summer Apart from interesting photo exhibitions - usually about 3 running at the same time - what I love about fotografiska is that it's open till late in the evening, and there's a great restaurant there, and that the restaurant enjoys the sunset over Stockholm harbour! 3 big ticks from me. In addition to the restaurant... More

The museum in itself is a great space for exhibitions, however I would recommend to check which exhibitions are there before visiting. The exhibitions we visited were in my opinion not very good. It was pictures of famous people and a diesel campaign, not very inspiring. There was one other one which was actually artistic about dansers and their dress,... More

We had heard so much about the Fotografiska and went out of our way to visit so the reality did not meet our expectations. This venue is well situated on the harbour however the exhibition disappointed us. I love photography but the photos on display did not reflect a large range of topics for example landscapes were under represented. The... More

Loved fotografiska. Interactive art. The location is on the water with beautiful views of djugarden and grona lund across the water. The museum itself had excellent exhibits. I love them all. They were funny, dark, inspiring, scary. Just loved it!

Nice stop at Fotografiska museum in between walking to the Old Town of Stockholm from Viking Line terminal. As a photography enthusiast it was really nice to see Anton Corbijn's exhibition plus few other exhibitions. Only the spot lights were directed a bit disturbingly some places, so the text (photo's name & year) written with pencil to the wall could... More

This exhibition venue was an exciting and we'll thought out space. It was a joy to see some great works and ideal lighting. It was even better that it is open till late in the evenings. I have never been to a gallery late at night and it added to the experience. Make sure you grab a drink at the... More

The Fotgrafiska is easy to reach from the Metro stop, walking along the highway to the gallery. If you are given the wrong directions, as we were, it is a hard walk down 100 steps. We were so excited to go there. Our reaction to the gallery was mixed which is inevitable with art - it is always subjective in... More
