Beautiful City!

Highly recommend you enjoying the sights of Stockholm by foot. Although walking for several hours can be unkjind to the feet, it is most worthy. Enjoy!

Beautiful building with marvelous artwork inside. Experieince the Blue hall were the Nobelprize party takes place and the Golden hall that is completely covered with golden mosaic artwork. Eat like nobel laurete at the restaurant. Dont miss the Prince gallery with amasing frescoes and view over Stockholm!

45 minute tour in English. You get to visit all the main rooms and the guide provided a very informative and light hearted tour. Whist not yet 100 years old this is a beautiful building with fabulous internal features. Sadly we were not able to access the main tower and its panoramic views of Stockholm as its closed in the... We were staying really close and had amazing weather on our trip at the end of September/start of October. We spent quite a lot of time just sitting outside on the banks of the river and when we were over on Södermalm you can see its grandeur in the distance.

This is because it is used for national and local government departments The annual Nobel prizes are awarded here after a gala dinner which is the buildings main... More

Great view and good opporunitys for nice Stockholm photos by the water taken towards Riddarholmen and Södermalm. Sunrise- or sunsettime is the best.

The guided tour is pretty good - lots to learn about the building and about the Nobel Prize and dinner event. Who'd have thought that a City Hall tour anywhere would be interesting. And since you will be likely touring old town, you should stop by. Staff and the guide were super friendly.

I love walking to the City hall when walking around in the city. Its a really beautiful area with the green park perfect for picnic and for the kids to play in. The buildings are also beatiful and its all surrounded by water.
