The building's is large and impressive from the outside, but the collection seems to only be stages in a small section. Very few animals, compared to other collections in other towns. Many of the animals have seen better days, and look fake or discoloured.

Happy to have found this open on a Monday, as many attractions are closed after the weekend. Incredible timber building housing a fascinating collection of Scandinavian fauna from 1891, displayed in a full 360 degree diorama. An interesting and informative introduction from staff. Go see...More

The building is certainly interesting, and the exhibits are ok, maybe just a little out dated, but certainly there are some that can have some value. The entrance fee is on the cheaper side, so not a bad value.

We weren't sure what sort of exhibits this museum would have, but my husband wanted to go and the entrance fee is on the low end for Stockholm. During the winter, the opening hours are limited, so make sure to check before visiting. The museum...More

I took a trip to the biological musem as i'm quite interested in biology, as well as the fact that it's really centrally located and easy to combine with other attracions or museums. I was however pretty dissapointed. The museum itself is very old, and...More

The building: Impressive - There is an amazing double-helix style staircase leading to the main exhibit. The main display was in an glass-enclosed panorama around a viewing deck. The displays were interesting and were displayed in a kind of apocalyptic landscape. I am guessing that...More

If you want to see a truly astonishing natural history museum you must visit this. Slightly more than 100 years old it features, as its main attraction, an 180o diorama that takes you imperceptibly though the Swedish landscapes from the very north to the southern...More
