The street Fjallgatan is in itself nothing special, but the view over Stockholm is spectacular. But the surrounding areas of this part of Stockholm are very interesting so it's worthwhile to take some time for a easy walk in the area. A lot to see...More

To visit Fjallgatan on the top of Sodermalm is one of Stockholm most fantastic views. Easiest is to take on of the many "Hop on - Hop off" Buses from down town. On your right you will see the inlet to Stockholm Central Harbor. There...More

This historic area is located high up on the edge of a cliff and has a fantastic view of the city. The well-preserved wooden buildings are from the 1700s.

On the cliff overlooking the Old Town and the amusement park, nice place to stand and gaze at Stockholm, drink an expresso or eat an ice cream.

When walking around in Stockholm we had to stop here for the view. Perfect for taking photos. We could see the whole town!

Pretty views of the water and several of the islands, including Gamla Stan. I think it was about a 15 minute walk from Gamla Stan, closer to Slussen station.

Excellent vantage point for shots of Stockholm on the water! Once you are here, heading a bit south and west into the heart of Sodermalm gives you plenty of nearby choices for a nice cup of coffee or a beer.

We visited Stockholm on a cruise and visited this street on a sightseeing tour, where it appeared to be a popular and favourite stopping point. Unfortunately it was raining lightly when we arrived, but it provides a great higher level viewpoint relatively close to the...More
