You have to walk to the southern island ... old wooden houses, narrow streets an a fantastic view on the old city.

Södermalm is not just fun to go to at night, but this southern part of Stockholm also has two places with the best views over the city. My favorite is the Monteliusvägen, but the Fjällgatan is superb too and the views here are in a...More

You have the best view over Stockholm from Fjällgatan. There are cosy little wooden houses and the best ice-cream bar in town.

Fjällgatan is near Fotografiska and if you’re in the area it is definitely worth the short walk to experience the great views on offer. It is quite steep so be prepared to walk up quite a few steps to get there!

My guidebook really talked up not just the view but the loveliness of the street and houses in this area. I honestly wasn't that impressed by the street, but the view is lovely. It's a long walk here from anywhere else though, and it's a...More

Not much to this area, but greats views of Gamla Stan and the rest of Stockholm from up above on the hill. If you’re going to the photograph museum or on a cruise (especially Viking) than you’re right there and worth a look!

This part of the city goes "way back" and several of the old houses still remains the same. There is a small café where you can buy coffee and icecream and sallads. The view is great. At the same street you can find the restaurant...More
