...of Stockholm. While roaming around aimlessly, we heard music...and like hunters, we followed the sounds. It was coming from 'Stampen'. Like every Saturday, between 02.00 and 06.00 p.m., there is open stage, so, also plenty of locals, enjoying their Saturday afternoon. The pub was opened...More

We were looking for a jazz night in Stockholm and entered Stampen. A blues show was going on, which was nice but not really what we would expect from a place like Stampen. It was very difficult to get a drink as the bar is...More

If you like jazz bars, you certainly like Stampa also. This is jazzy bar with the attitude. Staff was friendly and prices reasonable. I'm sure that I'll meet this bar again in the future.

I would give it 5 stars if they had air conditioning or fans. It gets pretty steamy inside...too hot to dance. The music is consistently good offering a good variety.

We visited here on a Saturday afternoon during the jam session. It was packed! The various live artists we experienced included the Swedish Blues legend Bill Orhstrom. Certainly worth a visit and unmissable for Jazz fans. Great atmosphere.

A small, friendly bar which has live music - which hosts some amazing artists. The singers / band really engage with and interact with the audience. Very small but just enough room to dance. A really friendly fun place. What a great find!

A place with beer and drinks and really cosy style with live music on Saturdays in blues style. Easy to talk to other people in the place. Can really recommend it for the atmosphere, it is not big but it is for all.

Just the kind of place you want to go to for a fun evening. Check the program on their website and go there 30 to 45 minutes before show time to get a table. They also have some great food there. Tex Mex but good.

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
