Cute record shop

An interesting and good record shop, lots of local music for sale as well as the regular stuff too. Decent vinyl collection for sure with other modes as well.

Sweden has good swing jazz bands, and this is where you can buy their CDs. It is located in Gamla Stan, so you can take a rest during walk-around. Check the opening hour in advance.

Very nice record shop, serves fine cold drinks on a utterly hot day in Stockholm. Also a great jazz and blues record collection, vinyl and digital.

Situated in "old" Stockholm, Plugged Records is a little coffee shop near the local blues hang out that is also a CD and record, the old vinyl type, store. It's a small place with a small selection of beer, a large selection of music and a good sound system to play it on. The people who work there are friendly... More

Staying in Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen

Neighbourhood Profile
Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting: take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest) alleys, which will make you feel like you’ve travelled back in time. This neighborhood offers a great combination of historical buildings and traditional Swedish restaurants.
