I had a fascinating tour by Gordon from the Naturskolan. The history is amazing and I observed lots of school students learning about mining practices and how Fulan Red paint is produced. The site is definitely worth a visit.

Great mining and culture tour! Industrial history and great tales! Good guide and nice ”fika” afterwords! Bring a jacket, its quite cool in the mountain!

This is UNESCO world heritage site. The tour into the mine gives you an insight to the life and work of the miners. Please were suitable footwear as is is wet and slippery on the steps and in the passages in the mine. You will...More

We went for a mine ture on a hot summer day- It was a great chice - even more as down in the mines the temperature was really low- refresing on a summer day, but make sure that you bring a sweater and long trousers....More
