Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful place and location. Amazing view over the harbour, although quite windy. It was quite rainy and not the best weather but cleared up around sunset leaving spectacular views. Probably best in summer :)

We live near here when we're in Sweden so I guess I'm a bit biased but ...it's really one of the most beautiful places for taking pictures as the views change (sky, sun, etc.) daily as well as seasonally. For us (my husband and I), it's mostly just for walking. However, the opera house is there as well as some stores/cafes. Many offices are there too. They are working hard to add even more things to the area (for example, places for kids to play) so even more people can enjoy the space. For me, seeing the boats docked is relaxing. Try to go at sunset ...the skies can look amazing.

Yeah, literally known by being the ugliest building in Gothenburg. Nothing to see here. Ugly port also.

It's a building! And a pritty little port. And a large "ship" of Opera House. All these make a very nice impression

The lipstick is an office block with a viewing tower on the 22nd floor. It costs about €4 to go up to the viewing tower but is worth it for the view. You can also see where you would like to go next. We spent about an hour just watching boats going in and out of the harbour.

Paid a 40 SEK admission fee to climb Lilla Bommen and reach its twenty-second, and top, floor. The views are great and span across much of the city. You can also take into account just how much development is currently ongoing in the city to make it more attractive and sustainable. The views are good, so probably worthy of the entry fee. Climbing this strange looking building too offered up views of our hotel - the Hotel Barken Viking ship - so it was great to be directly above the vessel.

We got off the ferry here from Klippen. Very picturesque with the sailing ship, the 'Lipstick' and the opera house. Some small cafes and shops in the area. Just at the end of one of the main shopping streets. A good way to see it was from the Padden trip, which runs from one of the bridges, near the tourist office, in Gothenburg.

Lilla Bommen is open to visitors only on weekdays from 11 to 4 pm and lift goes up every half hour, e.g. 11, 11:30, etc. Cost is 40 SEK for adult and 20 SEK for child. We came on Saturday and were disappointed...

Very interesting bulding design. Though it is visible from many places in Gotheburg town, but it is worth a visit to see the building and take a lift to the top.

Excellent View Point. The best view point to see the Gothenburg skyline in my opinion. The Go City card includes this attraction. Well recommended.
