We were here in 2015 Feb, unfortunately, the review date selection does not go that far back (my bad for reviewing it only now), so I have to put it as the same month but a year on. So, the picture of the village will not look like how it did in 2016. We got there in the afternoon but... More

We stayed 1 night in this hotel in March 2016 during a 5-day Lapland incentive trip to celebrate 10 years existence of our company, which means we did not pay, so this review might not be 100% objective :) In any case, it really is a "once in a lifetime experience" which you should do one day. The food was... More

Snow village provides guided tour to know their story and the guider is good. You can expect every year the room looks different, and this hotel is worthy to visit once for life,as the overall ice sculpture is amazing. It's really special experience to stay in the room at -5'C,and we really enjoyed the different atmosphere here, including the ice bar,ice church,and... More

The road to reach it is already amzing, snowy and full of ssurrounding trees. It is stunning to know that this village is rebuilt every year slightly differently. Sculpted ice is eveywhere back lit by warm lights. Magical contrast. It is composed of a traditionally built welcome desk and restaurant (we tried it by the way but the food is... More

We cross country skiied from Iso-Yllas, about a 30km round trip. The ice bar is not open until 4pm, so you need to go on an organised tour for this, however, we still got to look around the ice bar, carvings and ice hotel rooms, all of which were stunning. A nice restaurant attached, serving good, hot reindeer soup. We... More

My husband and I spent three nights in a lodge and one night in the ice hotel. From the moment we arrived to the day we left it felt magical. The reception staff were helpful, professional and friendly. A member of staff took our cases and us on the snowmobile to our Lodge. It was very quaint, we were in... More

Recently did this trip from Levi. It's worth a visit, especially for children. It is very pretty inside, but not on the same scale or as spectacular as the snow hotel which used to be a trip from Levi. However, it's not an expensive excursion, and is much nearer than the previous trip by Inghams to the Swedish hotel, being... More

Went one night to look around. It's very unique - there's probably nowhere like it! The carving is very impressive and pretty. We had a French guide who talked to us about it at first and then let us wander - she was very good. It's nice to wander around and see the different rooms - lots are carved and... More
