Really cool looking around this hotel. It was surprisingly warm compared to outside with a constant temp of -5. There’s a restaurant and chapel for weddings and then you get the chance to check out the rooms. The suites are stunning and there is great lighting throughout the hotel emphasising the best of the sculptures. A drink in the Ice... More

We visited the snow village as part of a monarch holiday. This is not a snow village but a ice hotel only. The hotel was impressive to see and there is a fun ice slide to have a go on, however you only need to spend half an hour here at most. We were disappointed that this was not a... More

Wow...impressive to think this is rebuilt every year. The detail is fantastic. It's bigger than I thought too. You get a tour of the hotel, restaurant, bedrooms, chapel etc then are left to wander about yourselves. They have even built an ice slide for children, which was fun, as I must admit I did have a few go's when it... More

We booked an overnight stay in the snow hotel as an add-on during a Monarch package holiday. My wife had always wanted to stay in a snow/ice hotel so jumped at the chance to do it. Our evening started with a 3-course meal in the ice restaurant where the tables and benches were all made from blocks of ice, and... More

We booked an overnight stay in a suite via the website as we were staying in nearby Yllas for a weeks skiing. We took a taxi from Yllas ski resort (90€ return) and arrived at 5pm. There were many coach/bus trips there at the time and it was quite busy. But after dropping off our bags in a locker we... More

This place is amazing. You can look in all the overnight rooms. Everyone is different. The sculptures on the walls are really intricate and detailed. When we arrived we had a talk on how the place is made every year. So very informative. We were shown the children's slide that is made from ice. Totally wasted on children !!!!!! We... More

There is only one word to sum this place up..........awesome! It's a must do if you are in Lapland, the suites are out of this world and the colours are stunning.

We booked an excursion to the snow hotel from Levi. We were picked up from a central point by coach and taken to the snow hotel.please note no outdoor thermal clothing is included so dress up warmly. We were given a tour around, and each room had a different theme and colour and the design is apparently each year. You can... More

We visited for an evening and had a great time. Enjoying shots from a glass made of ice is a great memory.
