Aurora eMotion provides the first electric snowmobile – eSled – safaris in the world! We offer unique, exclusive and ecological way to experience the beautiful Arctic nature with our emission-free and silent eSled safaris. Our innovative safaris are suitable for all ages and fun experience for couples, families or small groups who want to feel the silence, peace and purity of Lappish nature. Also, our safaris are great for beginners due to its special electric drive, which makes driving very easy. The safaris start from Arctic SnowHotel & Glass Igloos’ site in Sinettä, Rovaniemi which is located 20 min outside the centre of Rovaniemi. There exclusive and well-maintained private routes are waiting for You to explore magical wintry nature. All safaris include an experienced guide with you, delicious snacks, and top quality, extra warm winter clothing. Transfers are available from the city area of Rovaniemi. We can also produce customized private safaris to meet your needs.

In February 2023, I had the opportunity to visit the Arctic Snow Hotel resort, where I was able to drive an electric snowmobile across a frozen lake and through the woods. It was the kind of activity that I could only do in the Arctic. It was such a fun way to spend time outside with other travelers and to enjoy Finnish nature. If you go to this resort without going on an electric snowmobile safari, then you will do yourself a great disservice. It was one of the highlights of my trip. Our guides Helmi and Eemeli were very diligent in ensuring that everyone had a great time, while ensuring our safety as well. This is absolutely a "don't miss" activity!

Thanks to Helmi we had a lovely excursion through the snow and forest on electric snowmobiles. There were only three of us in total on the trip plus Helmi so it was nice to have nature all to ourselves. Helmi was very attentive, making sure we put on our gear correctly, knew how to drive the snowmobiles safely and imparting fascinating stories about her growing up in the area. We also had a nice break at a cabin where we could warm ourselves around the fire and partake of some local food and drink. A perfect afternoon!

We had a really awesome experience on our electric snowmobile safari with Aurora Emotion. It was an unforgettable experience riding a snowmobile for the very first time in the silent darkness of the night through the forests in search for the elusive northern lights. We were really lucky to catch a glimpse of it during our safari. Our guide for the night was Helmi. She was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, professional and friendly. She tried to unsuccessfully teach us some a Finnish 😅while we stopped for some lovely hot food and drinks which she prepared for us by the fire pit. We enjoyed baking some traditional Korvapuusti over the fire on a stick. We enjoyed every bit of the experience and we highly recommend it.

It was a really nice ride. EMELI & MATTI were really great instructors and also funny. They love to tell a lot about finland. The road you drive is just beyond amazing. In the middle of the woods you make a stop at a cabin to eat some sausages and drink some warm berry Juice that they prepare for you. It's just a really nice day

We did a fantastic Tour on an electric Snowmobile guided by Helmi. We started on a lake up to a little hill where we had a beautiful view on the sunset. Our guide Helmi did a great Job starting with very good instructions, followed by informativ knowledge about landscape and animals. We can highly recommend tours with Helmi and Aurora Emotion. Thanks a lot for a great expirience!

The whole trip was excellent.
We had a young woman guide. Helmi, who was intelligent fun, witty, and wise. She took the group on a 3 hour excursion through ´wonderfull winter landsscape , on frozen lakes and through magnificent wooden landscapes.
Electric snowmobiles are easy to drive, and a vacation for the ears. Very good experience.
after 1,5 hour we had a rest at a hut with a fire, with nice snacks and warm drinks before going back in the dimming light.
Coudnt have been better. Perfect.

Absolutely stunning! Snowmobile at night time through the forest was just amazing! Our guide EEMELI made us live a real magic experience. He managed as well to take us for a walk in the middle of nowhere to see the aurora lighting at the right moment!! Good cook as well!! Kiitos Eemeli!

Our tour guide Matti was absolutely fantastic. Hilarious, super knowledgeable of the area and Finnish culture, and had some fascinating stories to share. The log cabin that we stopped at was a welcome rest, and the sausage, dessert and berry drink hit the spot.
The snowmobiles are made in Finland by the company and are extremely quiet compared to petrol powered ones. It really added to the serenity of the forest. The tour wasn't too challenging, but also gave opportunities to open up the throttle a bit.
Would absolutely recommend.
