Cool cool place!
Feb 2020 • Friends
The Snowman World is the coolest place on the Arctic Circle! There are a few activities inside that you can do, for example taking some vodka shots in the Ice Bar (shots paid separately), ice-skating and snow-tubing too with the equipment all included in the entrance fee. The ice and snow sculptures were very prettily carved and you can see them all around the interior. Worth a visit!

Such a lovely place

Like everything ephemeral and sculpted in snow and ice, it's a magical place. A place for young and old children :)

Magical

Magical place. Children loved it. Not that much to do in there but enough to keep them amused for a while. Ice-tubing was the favourite though, and the ice and snow sculptures were fabulous.

A little bit expensive (28€) but worth it, I had a lot of fun + a lot of pictures of all the amazing statues made of ice.

An overpriced disappointment
Dec 2019 • Family
We had time to spare at Santa’s Village due to the huge wait to see the man himself, so we but the bullet and spent 92 euros for the four of us. The ice sculptures were lovely and the snow tubing was lots of fun but the ice skating rink was closed, which we weren’t told when we bought our tickets. Unless you are prepared to spend a preposterous amount in the bar or restaurant there’s nothing else there. If it had cost 15 euros it might just be worth it.

So I wont lie, I was very reluctant to go here purely based on the €28 pp price tag, but we came all the way here for christmas, our 6 year old wanted to and basically what he wanted he got - the trio after all was for him to make memories of a life time.
We arrived at santa village just before 11am, so we actually purchased our entry to snowman world earlier in the day than some, which would be my first recommendation, as your wristband is for the entire day. You can come and go as you please. If you have younger kids the excitement starts as soon as you enter with an ice slide. Yup we barely made it through the entrance and already my £84 entrance fee sting was already melting away .. the smile on my sons face flying down the slide on his belly..priceless. onwards through the igloo itself and it truly is quite remarkable all the intricate markings and ice sculptures. Through to the ice bar and side rooms. Then outside to the donut slide which was the absolute highlight of all our day. So much fun.
We were originally in here for I'd say about 2 hours then left to do other things around the village. We then returned just after 2.30pm, had some drinks and snacks in the cafe at snowman world then back to the outdoor track for more donut/sledging fun. My son did not want to leave.
It is pricey - yeah €28 pp
Is it worth it- yip 100%
Just wish we could post videos to show you just how much fun it was 🥰

Good dinner in igloo - awesome experience
Dec 2019 • Family
Had dinner with the family - from ages of 6 to 67... and what an awesome site. The entrance is Magic with ice and snow sculptures and an ice bar serving drinks. The dinner itself was surprisingly good although you must dress warm and the food turns cold quickly if you eat slowly. It’s quite expensive but well worth it because it is such a unique and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights during our four day stay.

Good but not worth the price
Dec 2019
We visited on Saturday 14th December 2019. The website totally over sells what is on offer here. In reality, there is a large Ice Igloo with some ice sculptures (which are lovely) and outside there is a large ice slide for tubing and 2 smaller ones for the kids. Great fun for about an hour to an hour and a half but 28 Euros is a lot to pay for this.

Fun and beautiful
Dec 2019 • Family
We visited the snowman world on 12 Dec 2019. It was quite beautiful and cool to take nice photos with the cute ice sculptures. The ice restaurant and ice bar look interesting too. Our 8-year boy enjoyed the ice tubing the most. There is a nice small cafe just outside the entrance where you can get some hot drinks and simple food. It opens from 11am till 5pm on the day of our visit and visitors can come in and out during the day of the ticket. For 2 adults plus 1 child, the total ticket price was Euro 84. It is worth going if you bring kids to visit Santa Claus Village.

Amazing place just Thomas cook “Worse company every” but ignoring that the actual place is amazing. Only one night there it’s all that you could book to stay at this place we are hoping to find it for longer booking separately. The ice igloo is out of this world and you need to book the hot tub but we never used the sauna as we all hate them. It’s immaculately clean very friendly staff perfectly quiet and deep fresh crisp snow on the edge of woodland and a two minute walk to the snowman village. There are sledges dotted around for the kids you just take but the shops are a total waste of time no real Christmas decorations you would want and the food is not good anywhere but non of that matters it’s beautiful. As a couple it be amazing with our 5 year old it was amazing loads of other children around but no noise at all. We’re going back hopefully for four days should be enough.
