Lots of local produce on display, most items are priced which is something I like. The food stalls offering lunchtime fish dishes were excellent value and the food tasted out of this world

The market is closed on Sunday :) In summer, this market is alive and interesting , really really ! Especially of a lot of berries and mushrooms !

OK - lots of fruit, vegetable and flower kiosks. Mainly for locals but worth a walk through. Saw some street performers.

As a must - try street food - local fish and chips. Buy a deer pelt or an authentic souvenir. Take a ride to Suomenlinna by the boat.

The tram stop is is called "Hakaniemi", right next to the square. Trams 1, 1A, 3, 6, 7A, 7B, and 9. There are also buses and a stop of the metro line.
