It was a rainy, cool day so we decided to check out this Museum.
It was an amazing museum. The only drawback as that most info was in Finnish/Swedish with minimal English on most of the placards. Other than that, well worth the price.
A great walk through history from the moment the universe was created, lots of explanation about how and what made it conducive to life and how.

Went to spend time and was positively surprised! We spend there with my friend about two hours and found everything interesting. It was nice that there is different floors, so you always "start fresh" each floor.
Highly recommend visiting!

I felt like I paid 14€ just for looking at skeletons and stuffed animals.
Most of the information is not available in English (even titles sometimes are not translated).
Though museum looks nice, I don't recommend visiting it unless you have nothing else to do....More
The building is an old Russian boy school from 1913. From 1923 it has been a Natural History Museum, part of the University of Helsinki.
It is easy to spend several hours here. The museum also has a cafe and a souvenir shop.
