Nice walk around the traditional old wooden houses. I imagine they would look amazing in the snow in the winter! Went into the Christian charity shop and bookshop which has two lovely cafes which were very peaceful.
There are many very beautiful old wooden houses in Neristan. However, I didn't like Neristan as much as the old towns of Rauma and Porvoo. Rauma and Porvoo are more charming and more lively, because there are more cafeterias, restaurants, small shops and cobbled streets...More
Stopped in Kokkola for lunch and looked up things to do in the city. It looked interesting so I stopped.
It is definitely worth stopping if you are going through the city. A lot of old wooden houses of different colors.
