The tour goes through the fijord and you get a good view of Akureyri from the water. The guide points out sights along the way that you would otherwise not notice. They do not guarantee that they will find whales, but we found a pair...More

I have mixed reviews of this tour. We did see a whale, as promised, but we literally chased the same whale the entire 3-hour tour. I really expected after we saw it twice or so we would move on and see about finding another. We...More

We saw five whales and watched a cruise ship pass by. It was a fun trip. The overalls were free and provided lots of warmth. The ride was never too rough. There was a snack bar with beer and other drinks. The tour guide was...More

I returned exactly one year later to experience again the whales of Akureyri. No disappointment, only more joy. The staff were wonderful, as usual. The especially knowledgeable Jerry was the guide on my extreme whale watch. Water was a little rough that day, but we...More
