The church looks very nice from outside. Inside, there is a picture of the resurrection of Lazarus from lava.

This lovely church is the landmark for reaching the gorgeous harbortown of Husavik. Where do we park? Behind the church. Where is our whalewatching located? Across from the church. Where did we geocache? Around the church. Really can't miss it.

We really enjoyed our time in Husavik - a town with real character and charm. There is an interesting and busy harbour where both fishing boats and a range of whale watching excursions depart from. Bordering the harbour are a range of interesting buildings, cafes...More

Very scenic church in the centre of town. Definitely photo worthy while you wait for your whale watching outing.

To Icelandic standards large church, located next to the harbour of Húsavik. You can go up to 1st floor for a nice view on the interior. Remarkable entrance door.

the church is beautiful as you can see, but we didn't go inside. I wish I could show you my pic. it's one street away from the marina.

Not much to say other than a nice church to walk in and have a quiet moment. Its right across the street from a delicious fish & chips restaurant too.

Yet another beautiful church in Iceland. On trip from Reykjavik to Dalvik there was one constant...photo opportunities to take pictures of beautiful churches along the way.

This church is probably a Husavik's trademark. It worths a visit. Inside is quite warm and calming, everything is made from wood.

Husavikurkirkja is a pretty little wooden church that dominates the skyline in this remote little town in northern Iceland.
