We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Keflavik Maritime Center is a part of Duus Museum. They had an amazing collection of ship models made with extreme care. The models were truly beautiful and they were very well displayed as well.

I have been here in the past and couldn't wait to visit once again. The number of model boats and the fact that one man made all of them is beyond comprehension! It is much larger than it appears and you will not be disappointed - the kids will enjoy the models as well. This is a not to miss site in Keflavik.

I traveled with 201 Squadron Royal Air Force, where we traveled on the Friday with the crew carrying out a Sortie, had the Saturday at our leisure - after arriving Friday tea-time - and then after a Sortie on the way home on Sunday, returned to RAF Kinloss on the Sunday evening!

This place is in a beautiful setting in Keflavik and just by a very good restaurant. Would not go there if it meant diverting from a main attraction, but let say it is a good place to cool down the day before leaving if staying at a nearby hotel such Bergas Guesthouse.

Went here basically for something to do on a miserable wet day thinking it would shove in maybe 30 mins or so
Boy was I wrong spent about 4 hrs looking at all the different model boats and how well they were constructed with every little detail correct
Will definitely go back here

Huge selection of fishing boat models - many sizes and types. Also fishing gear and old photos around the walls. Wonderfully crafted. Take your time!

This is in the Duushus museum and is definitely worth seeing. The boat miniatures are meticulous and there are over 100 of them. The other maritime history lining the walls is really cool as well. Great to feel the history of the small fishing town.

This museum is known as the Duus Museum. One block from the Hotel Berg, 6 minutes from the Keflavik Airport. Have lunch at the Duus Kaffe and enjoy this fabulous museum.
