Very icelandic atmosphere. It's perfect for family time, and you can also go at night (till 10pm). You have different pools with different temperatures.
Don't forget to bring shampoo so you can take a shower after.
This a very beautiful pool. One section is indoors under a glass dome. That's the pool for small children and their parents, mainly.
Three hot pools at different temperatures. Steam bath with one wall out of glass, so it doesn't feel claustrophobic.

Great day out! My son had a ball going up and down the water slide while I stayed in the hot pools.

Lovely pool & hot tubs with great views of Elliðaárdalur valley. A little way out of Reykjavik centre but easy to reach by bus and well worth it. We combined it with a walk in Elliðaárdalur and a visit to the near by open air...More
We had a great time here. This pool is a good alternative to the Blue Lagoon. At a fraction of the price, it was a very soothing geothermal experience. Enjoyed both the fresh crisp air of winter and the warm comfort of the pools.
This is a geothermal pool area about 40 min outside Reykjavik. Many locals frequent this pool. Enjoyed the area on 2 different days - we just wanted to return and made time to do so. Very therapudic temp: 38-40C and 42-44C.
Very clean, pleasant outdoor...More

All the best, Árni Jónsson
Our party of 5 with a teen & pre-teen went here late afternoon. We were the only non-locals. You can buy a pass for all the city's pools that CAN be shared among family.
